Drugs may let us live to 150

By the way, here's the paper I read:

So, yeah. Living past 120 would suck.

Here are some others.
Assuming a reasonable state of health, ability and cognitivity, how long would one want to live? 150 is not bad, but how about 200 or 2000 years?
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

I would be happy to live to 75 or 80, provided I'm in reasonable physical and mental health. I'm 44 now, which would give me another 31-36 years.

I'm OK with that.

I should probably search in my personal archives to see if I can find it.

Makes sense. Given the state of world population growth today, our birth rates and longevity don't make for a sustainable population.

In the year I was born (1967) there were approximately 3.45 billion people on Earth. Today, there are at least double that.

I have serious doubts that our biosphere can sustain another doubling of population. My personal contribution to population reduction was to only have one child. My brother and sister chose to have none, though for other reasons.

Haha! The only side effect from medication that I am aware that I have experienced was from Ambien.

The first time I took it I ended up jumping the bones of my children's father, and apparently had mad passionate sex with him for the first time in over 2 years. The only reason I know it happened is because he called me the next day saying "We should do that again sometime very soon..".

I was so grossed out that I never took them again. I'll just be an insomniac, thank you.

Mine is Chantix...ready to jump off 10 floors.

Mother has a mild dose of the Lipitor side effects.

VERY careful now as to what side effects a prescription drug has.
