RE: A really hard question on Satan and deception.

The varied stories of lucifer and god (being totally fictional and utterly ridiculous) leads me to only one conclusion.
Satan wasn't lying to Eve and in truth, he seems to be the only one that ever gave a shit about the human race. Did Lucifer build hell? Nope. Is Lucifer threatening to send me to Hell? Nope. Did Lucifer give me my "sinful" nature and then tell me not to use it? Nope. Did Lucifer condemn me the very MOMENT I was born? Nope. Actually, throughout my whole life who has brought me FAR more pain and suffering? The christians or the lost?
Hands down, not even close - christianity has brought me nothing but misery. If I was to support any fictional character from the Book of Lies - it would HAVE to be Lucifer. Seems really obvious.

"But who prays for Satan? Who in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most, our one fellow and brother who most needed a friend yet had not a single one, the one sinner among us all who had the highest and clearest right to every Christian's daily and nightly prayers, for the plain and unassailable reason that his was the first and greatest need, he being among sinners the supremest?"- Mark Twain (from his autobiography).
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
I would say humble enough to admit that you're wrong. I suggest this prayer "Jesus, if you're real, I want to know about it. If you're God, come into my life and I will turn it over to you" If God revealed Himself to you, would you serve Him?

No. His character and actions are deplorable. Your god sets the worst example possible for humans to follow. Who should I kill first? The homosexuals, the disobedient children or the violators of the sabbath?

Satan doesn't care about you, or any human. He hates humans because they're in the image of God. He deceived Eve so he could get to Adam and enslave him and get dominion over Earth. That is why Satan is the ruler of this world. Satan fell because of pride; he was jealous of God and wanted to replace him. "I will be like the Most High" Satan wants to be God, he desires worship. He is no friend to humanity and is going to bend it to his will when the antichrist comes to power.

Of course I wouldn't, but this has not always been the case. An inconvenient bit of information that leaves your entire argument empty and vacuous.
Again, assume I had and he did not reveal himself, not a peep. Are you going to request that we accept your hypothetical to engage in this discussion and then ignore our own? Color me unsurprised and unimpressed.
(all that evidence you've been claiming for who knows how long remains strangely absent btw, don't think for a moment that I've forgotten about it, or that I'll let you slide with diversionary shit)

You shouldn't kill anyone. The mosaic law was for a time and place, and that time has passed. The rules were harsh because the times were harsh and so were the people.
Your story is common. You get out into the world, discover you like sin more than you love God, and then quickly abandon the faith, mostly as rebellion against your parents. Then you try to justify it by saying God is immoral, but it was your own immorality that led to abandoning God wasn't it. Funny how that works.

The bible was of a time and place, that time has passed. Your story is common, you are a hateful and bigoted person and have gravitated towards a hateful and bigoted religion. Funny how that works.

According to who? The Bible? A book that has less relevance than the Brother's Grimm. Besides, there's always two sides to every story and history's winner always paints themselves as the good guy. What if god is a real cock sucker and Lucifer was the underdog hero of the story who attempted to overthrow the evil dictator bent on torturing humans for all eternity. That version of the story seems ludicrous to you doesn't it? ... Well now you know how I feel about your version of the story.

Okay, hypothetically, if you asked and didn't hear from Him, I would say that you didn't make much of an effort. It says "dilligently". I sought God out for 6 years before He led me to Christianity.
