Quote:so the god of your bible created evil put his innocent creations in a world he allowed to be corrupted by evil and allowed the people to be deceived by evil and sin and then is going to judge them for sinning and being decieved by the evil that he put here ...Maybe read Genesis 1..God did not create an Evil world nor did he put man into one. We welcomed it with open arms. What was done in the garden is repeated in each and every one of our lives. Meaning we (according to Paul/Romans 1-2) select Evil or decide to repent of our sin [/quote] yes i did read genesis : bible god created man , created the garden of eden , created satan and allowed satan to be a snake - evil- in the garden where he placed his innocent perfect new creations humans , and allowed them to all be together in one place are you saying bible god didnt realize what would happen ? created an apple that people were not allowed to eat , created these humans with curiosity to be curious and so they were as bible god knew they would be since he created them that way , and then allowed the snake to tempt the curious creatures that he created with the apple that he put there within their reach . then when the inevitable happens bible god gets angry and orders his now not perfect creations to live on an earth that is corrupted by sin and evil that bible god allowed and actually set up to happen .

Great, so there's no problem then. Business as usual.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Gen 3 tell us the snake was 'clever' not Evil. Did the Snake even lie about what He told Adam and Eve? Not completely, He told a half truth. granted Evil is not defined by our actions, but by the intention of our heart in relation to those sins. But, again the point here is no where in the genesis account is the snake identified as Evil. If the snake was not evil then what was he? The snake repersented temptation which lead to a fuller understanding of the choice God gave those two while in the garden. True Evil did not arise till after we fully understood sin. Which again happened after the creation of the earth so again God did not put man into an evil world. God made the world with sin, Man elected sin, and it is man still who chooses to embrace evil over the attonement in which God offers for sin. Quote:in the garden where he placed his innocent perfect new creations humans , and allowed them to all be together in one place are you saying bible god didnt realize what would happen ?No I am saying while we may not have what is defined in the greek philosphy of 'free will' we have always been given the choice to either be with God or seperated from Him. Most of you think Biblical Christianity see sin as a bad thing, or lumps it is with evil. Sin after Christ has been canceled. So to sin as romans 2 describes and perscribes for it is not the end of the world, it is a nessary 'evil' choice/freedom to chose whether or not we want to be with God. "Evil" is one who has made the choice to be with their sin rather than to be with God. This could be something as mundain as gossip or murder and canibalism. so why did God allow sin? Sin is Choice. Or Rather sin is anything not inside the expressed will of God. If their were only God's will their would be no choice. Choice is something God has given man even before man was created (the tree of knoweledge was planted before Adam and eve were even around) So why does God punish us for this choice? He doesn't. Because we are all in Sin all the time, the choice we are to make is to be redeemed of sin, or to embrace it and be turned over to our evil wants. It was a upper limit, the option was to forgive. This is what Jesus pushed rather than take full avantage of what the law would allow. Nothing change, Jesus simply wanted people to look at it the other way. (November 11, 2015 at 3:42 pm)RaphielDrake Wrote: Ah but... *sips JD and coke*... "God is love".
