Too many near death experiences

Oh no! There are so many videos on youtube of people describing encountering aliens and being abducted by them - can they all be lying? People need to "wake up" - right?

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Atheism disease is that it regard the body as the ultimate in evolution.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LAUGHABLE considering that in reality the body is a slavery.
We are stuck inside this body.
As a vehicle is not the driver also the body is not us.
Smart people however realize this realty so they try their very best to get out this slavery and be free ASAP.

Atheists and people who don't care instead build up the canary syndrome and don't bother anymore whether they live in a cage or not.  Lightbulb

Yeah yeah yeah, whatever, get to the important part.  Does my ghost have a dick?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Perfect Khem.
Absolutely perfect.

You got so so blind that the lower attraction such as the sex has become the number one priority in your life.

Other people number one priority are money.
In this way people like you are forced to pull an enormous load that sooner or later will brake your back.

I guess you guys never guessed that by working on the higher glands rather than the lower will produce much much better result without breaking your back, did you?  Lightbulb

Your soul is just a vehicle too. Sorry but it's vehicles all the way down.

Time will tell son.  Angel Cloud

In the meantime I do struggle to steer the vehicle up rather than down.
What about you?  Rolleyes

RE: NDE's
(November 8, 2017 at 12:18 pm)Aegon Wrote: Well, almost every NDE I've ever heard involves:

-intense feelings of peace, joy, calmness
-feeling as if the person is departing their body (looking down)
-being in a tunnel / moving through dark space
-seeing bright, comforting, light
-entering light, seeing peaceful landscapes
-sometimes seeing dead relatives or a review of their life

The physiological explanation for these is the activation of the angular gyrus, and endorphin flooding the brain. Really, it seems that beyond that, any, erm, "customization" of a NDE is obviously related to that person's beliefs. Christians, surprise surprise, say they see heaven or hell. Even life long atheists will see it, if they have been primarily exposed to Christian belief and thought their whole life. A Lakota Sioux medicine man reported seeing things related to his tribe's beliefs and life experience, including a spiritual journey across the Atlantic, heavenly horses, migrating geese, and spotted eagles.

So I'm sure they're telling the truth. But it does not mean much to me.

In addition, there's also the effects of confabulation to consider; the brain filling in gaps in the narrative after the fact, as a result of suggestion or otherwise... such that what is immediately reported about an NDE after waking up is more reliable evidence than anything that follows, which could be basically contaminated by this process.

This only show how ignorant you and those who back you up are.  Think

Consciousness that has separated from the brain doesn't need the physical senses to perceive.
Atheism disease is that it keep on relay to whatever is physical.
All the rest doesn't exist. Popcorn  Bong  Popcorn
Consciousness is not something physical but for most atheists it is and this make everything so difficult to understand.  Wacky

Oh, good.

Please provide any example of a consciousness which exists without a physical brain.

You will not because you cannot.

Rikky, you fucking struggle with breathing in and out. Nobody said that humans are the ultimate in evolution except you.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Deduction Cyb, deduction.  Lightbulb

If for an atheist God doesn't exist what else is there other than man as the ultimate in evolution unless you tell me than a donkey is the ultimate?  Jerry
