Did Jesus ever sin?

I always wonder why it doesn't get more attention, seems like an explicit sin. No problem. Here is Luke 2:41-52 Quote: Luke 2:41-52 New International Version (NIV) Bold is mine, highlighting that he ran away for three days against the will of his parents and that he was obedient only afterwards. This is in comparison to the 4th commandment which is to honor thy father and mother. Exodus 20:12
Why didn't return within the lifetime of his followers as promised?
I thought lying was a sin too.... RE: Did Jesus ever sin?

I can only presume it gives you the spiritual equivalent of a hard-on to be reading us the riot act in such a manner. -when people want to frighten others...they inevitably invoke whatever scares the piss out of them. GC's been threatening people with hell for years on these boards. It's fair to assume that he's positively terrified that he's going to end up there..no matter how many time he engages in pious theater here on these boards about his deep relationship with christ. That's probably -why- he's here..babbling at us about hell. In his case, I'd assume his business was completely flaccid out of abject terror, a terror he can't voice or acknowledge. God doesn't speak to him, he's going to hell.

Mark leaves the ear off: Mark 14 (KJV) 47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. John leaves the ear off: John 18 (KJV) 10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Not sure how this helps your side . . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Jesus was honoring His Father, bold mine in red, Jesus was saying to His mother and Joseph that they should have come straight away to the temple because there was no other place He would be. They never told Jesus to come home with them so He couldn't have disobeyed them. Mary must not have seen what Jesus did as disobedience because she treasure all those things in her heart, a parent doesn't treasure disobedience. Bold in blue by me. Now to address your purposeful misinterpretation, you say He ran away, the scriptures say He stayed behind, He may have been in the temple before they left but we know for sure He did not run away because He never left with them. Your deception was fruitless, truth always works best. He healed the man's ear immediately. So don't tell me God has never healed an amputee. I do not see that I'm on any side, I am following God. Just because three did not tell of the healing doesn't mean it did not happen, the three that left it out had seen jesus heal the sick, cripple and blind many many times and would not be surprised at this healing. Luke on the other hand had not seen all those healings and as a doctor was fascinated by it. This is all you see in this story pitiful, you were the one who said Jesus was promoting using violence and I was showing you that He wasn't, you strayed from the argument because you had none. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

That's why they specifically chastised him for it. Also, it's parents. Mary is his parent, so is Joseph for that matter. The scriptures said they believed He was with relatives and he was only a few years from what would have been considered adulthood. They did not specifically chastise Him, Mary asked Him a question, chastising doesn't have questions, it involves telling. Joseph understood He was the earthly parent of Jesus overseeing His development during childhood. Jesus himself told Mary He was doing His Father's work. I do not switch nothing at all, the verses say what they say and they did not say what you wanted them to. sorry if you have trouble understanding what they say, it's not my fault, I've been trying to teach them here for years but the atheist just want listen. You're being a cry baby because I want give into your false accusations of the scriptures, seems to me you would be willing to argue with someone who desires to be consistent. I have always tried to be consistent and I'm not sure where you think I haven't. GC

The 4th or 5th Commandment (depending on your source) is, "honor your father and mother." In Matthew 12:47-49, Jesus rebuked his mother and called his disciples his family.
There is more magnificence looking at a grain of sand through a microscope than in the most lavish holy book in the world.
