The believer seems to know god better than he knows himself

RE: The believer seems to know god better than he knows himself
Get back to us whenever you find those golden tablets, then.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Oh, did he fax down a book that can genuinely be identified as divinely written rather than scribed by fallible man who delusionally thought he was receiving divine thoughts from some deity?

Lower your intelligence, banish your dignity, eliminate your integrity, breath deeply the gases of the sewer, and proof of god may come inside your head.

Sorry sport there is only 1 if... and that is what "IF" you are wrong, and what I experienced with my own life is correct. But I guess when one's mind is tightly shut one if is one too many.

I could be wrong about Odin not existing, but a fairy tale's cure of salvation is still no incentive to believe.

Salvation is a 10th of the equation. We are beings designed to operate or find fulfillment working with God. To be complete to be made whole to operate at 100% of our designed capacity is why we seek God. Salvation is the how that coming together happens. when we work together 'we' experience the fruit of the Holy Spirit which later manifests into Gifts of the Spirit.

Oh?  And what is that method?

to vet any revelation of God through the bible. the same holy spirit is responsible for both. God the Spirit would not make a contradictory revelation now against what was written back then.

Oh? And how do you know that the bible is the word of God, or as you say, vetted by the holy spirit?

kinda that exactly what he did.
before the discovery at qumran, our oldest version of the the book of isaha in the OLd testament was 1000 year after christ. which lead many to question the text especially the book of isaiah and the passages concerning the coming of Jesus (along with everything else). then in 1947 the dead sea scrolls were discovered...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zawo1omIdis

in the video they speak of the isaiah scroll they found being 1200 years old, and it was identical minus some grammar and spelling differences to what we had used to make our bibles at that time. To which every book of the OT was also found in those caves, minus ester and the same scrutiny was reported throughout the OT

How do you vet a map

How do you vet a set of instructions?

You follow the map and it takes you where you want to go then the map is valid.

You follow the instructions and if it build what they claim to build then the instructions are valid.

The same is true with the bible. The bible is vetted by the following of said instruction on how to find/locate the Holy Spirit. I followed those instructions and literally found God. Stood before Him was judged by my current state back then, then in time found a messenger who gave me direction and a path to follow for my future, and now direct contact with the Holy spirit who gives me direction on your questions an as a matter of course opportunities for my business. then according to the bible I reinvest where it says and my responsibilities continue to double, as do God's expectations of me.

Because it jives with the instruction/the map

You walk into that on accident, or on purpose?

Because it jives with the instruction/the map

That doesn't answer the question. Your evidence also jives with natural explanations having nothing to do with God, most of which are considerably more probable than your preferred explanation. Choosing to believe a less likely explanation over a more likely one is an irrational procedure, and thus doesn't count as a method of verification. Regardless, you've resorted to arguing in a circle as I said you would. I asked you how you know the word of God, you answered the bible. I asked you how you know that what the bible led you to is God, you answer the bible. Either you're thinking irrationally, or you're reasoning in a circle. Perhaps I should have been more precise and said, "That leads to either a circular argument, or other equally faulty argument." Hardly much difference.
