That's part of why the GOP response has been to paint a new moving target every week. So changing minds, yes. There are probably trumpers too (whose vote means jack shit in an impeachment) who were always going to be okay with anything the god emperor did, because he did it, even if they aren't okay with anything he did.

Like I said, broken. Nothing about impeachment is working or will work - the asset in chief is a rolling constitutional crisis. Still, they're doing the right thing the right way..which is a bit of a rarity for dems, imo.
