ALL human beings lie, often.
To assert the silly woman in the video lies BECAUSE she is Christian is an ad hominem,a basic logical fallacy.. (if indeed she is lying, she may be sincere for all we know)
It's logically valid to say she seems to be lying and/or mistaken/deluded/pig ignorant/stupid AND a Christian. Although any or all of those things are certainly common among Christians, I've seen no evidence that they are causal agents. I DO concede such things are a distinct advantage in being a believer and staying one..
Now now...lets ease off a bit. Lets look at the feel of this post so far.
The context is "lying about their religion"
..and, to show that I was trying not to blanket generalize, I even put the word "some" in the OP title. Not ALL Christians, but SOME Christians.
I feel that i approached this topic in good faith and close to the upper 3 tiers of the logical pyramid. I presented a fair claim, showed proof of the lies, gave references to prove it was all lies, and concluded softly with asking a question to the forum.
Any Christian could have brought forth an argument about the wording of my question, but I would have argued that the OP proves that at least ONE Christian lied, on television no less.
Now, go ahead and say it was a mistake. I will argue how immature it would be to go on television and speak of things you dont know shit about.
Do you see my point now?
Besides...always feel free to question me and what I post. If I made an honest mistake I will try to correct it, and admit to fucking up.

No,sorry,l don't.
Still an ad hominem:

In using the word 'some' you are still attempting to establish a principle:
She is a Christian
She is lying (unproven assumption) AND lying BECAUSE she is a Christian, (unproven)
Therefore some Christians lie BECAUSE THEY ARE CHRISTIANS. Non sequitor..
Yes, SOME Christians most certainly lie. However it has NOT been established specifically or 'sometimes' some/any Christians lie BECAUSE they are Christians.

Well no,I don't think so.All I noticed was that you showed the claims are untrue. That is NOT necessarily the same as a deliberate lie.
Do you see MY point now? If not,we will need to agree to differ. I've said all I have to say on this matter

Why do they lie so much?
Because the bible isn't a sufficiently interesting stack of lies on it's own, and it needs more lies to add color, and to strengthen it's "credibility".
The entire Christian faith, religion, whatever is founded in lies. Ever heard the old saying:
"A lie can't stand on it's own."
A lie needs other lies to support it every time.

Actually, she doesn't think she is lying. Someone in authority told her that story (probably her pastor) and it is inconceivable to her that such a person would lie about such a thing - so even if the person who first told the tale was lying, this person has no clue that the story is false and is only repeating a story she was told.

Shes making shit up
regardless if she has no idea what she is talking abot then she is saying something she heard..so its not deliberate lying.
Still doesnt excuse her from pulling such shit with a camera in front of her. What outstanding ignorance!
Its carelessness if what you say is correct...and its embarassing.

You're mostly correct, but I argue that Christianity encourages people to lie by being impossible to prove with facts, while requiring its believers to say that it is true.
Christianity is not a race- it is a belief, and beliefs can certainly alter the mentality of their believers en masse.
