No one really knows where they came from. I've run into one guy who swears they started out in Spain!
What they do seem to have done is scraped up recruits from among the lower classes of the regions they overran.

In the case of Jehovah the Father and Jesus Christ the Son, yes, there are two separate and distinct individuals. What you and most people don't realize is that the word "god" is merely a title that can be assigned to anyone and anything that is perceived as being powerful.
WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF "GOD":
1. any of various beings conceived of as supernatural, immortal and having special powers over the lives and affairs of people and the course of nature
2. a person or thing deified or excessively honored or admired

In other words, the word "god" is a title that is not restricted to Jehovah. However, he is the only God referred to as "Almighty" God. This is because he is all powerful and is the creator of everything. Therefore, only Jehovah should be worshipped. Even humans who are in powerful positions are considered gods. This is confirmed by the apostle Paul as I previously mentioned.
"For even though there are those who are called 'gods,' whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are MANY 'gods' and MANY 'lords,'..."
(1 Corinthians 8:5)
Paul went on to clarify in verse 6 that only Jehovah should be worshipped. In that same verse, he acknowledged Jesus' very important role as Lord. Jesus Christ is our lord and savior from Adamic death. He mediates with Jehovah for us. He serves as the go-between.
"there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him." (1 Corinthians 8:6)
I will respond to another part of your last post shortly.

It's all made up you stupid fuckers.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

I have already provided you extensive scriptural support showing that this belief of two distinct individuals is utterly false. Or do you need even more scriptural support to release you from this false belief?
You appear to be deliberately misreading your prooftext.
Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that there is no such thing as an idol in the world, and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
The Father and Son are paired together while talking about one thing. The Father is the love for whom all things were created and the Son that is the means for creation. This redundancy is found throughout the bible. For example...I am the Lord your God who 1)brought you out of Egypt 2) out of the house of bondage. Egypt is the house of bondage. Many other such double references occur but I don't have time right now to research them for you.

Let the christians cherry pick their personal favorite parts of the biblical bullshit so they can bash eachother's few remaining braincells out with it.

They did try to get their story straight once upon a time, using some pontifax maximum in rome or some shit like that. But that didn't add a single once of worthiness to the whole sordid superstition.

It is still interesting watching them argue over whose pile of garbage smells better.

And yet we are the ones using our brains to dig deep into the meaning and significance of the documents that have shaped our world. We learn and grow from each other by comparing our thoughts and correcting one another. It's no different from comparing and advocating the work of different artists while discussing aesthetics. In this area, you are done learning. Suit yourself, but you're only making asses of yourselves with your ignorant insults.
