We deliberately overlook this so called fact because the earth wasn't formed out of water.
God was being metaphorical here. Water isn't meant to be taken as literal water but instead very small bits of matter that can take a form which is similar to water. So clearly the Bible is scientifically accurate, and it predates science! Amazing! Praise the Lord!

The Four Horsemen are some of the most badass beings in the Bible... At least as depicted in other fictitious works based on the Bible. What are the biblical verses related to the Horsemen? What do they say?
