I find that hard to believe, especially since the way to cure leprosy is to kill one dove, sprinkle its blood on another dove, then let that dove go.
I'm actually thinking of going through and doing a book by book analysis of the bible as a literary work. Just examining it honestly. I've got a few weeks and the KJV on audiobook. Could be fun.

I find a lot of Genesis unintentionally funny. Wait until you get to the part where Adam is lonely so god brings him the animals to name. Only after Adam names the animals does god realize that there is no mate among them suitable for the human. Wait. God supposedly created humans but didn't know that Adam would want another human as a mate? Did he expected Adam to have sex with the animals?

There's something like that already. And it's the KJV, rather handily.

The snake got you to eat of the same tree A&E ate from, rather than the tree of LIFE God offers you.
Must be some genetic deficiency we can blame on God. That's it?

Where is Jesus mentioned? There is no support of this in the text. Don't project onto it, read the text as it stands. There are multitudes in heaven, and most likely God is speaking to these. There is nothing in the text to support Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
The serpent is the honest one in this story, which is odd. The serpent tells the truth, and God is the liar. This does however fit in line with the forms of other mythologies of the time. And given how God is portrayed, it also fits with that.

You could give each line/verse a rating, like 5 stars for something profound that impresses us even now, and 0 stars for something which is blatantly incorrect or immoral. Tedious but possibly correct history gets 1 star, along with banal but vaguely practical advice.
