Everyone is capable of imaginatively inventing a personal god in which to believe, yet the god remains no more real than the monsters imaginatively created beneath one's bed. A god concept is incapable of doing anything except cognitively disassociate one from reality since it is a mere delusion in the mind of the believer.
Yes, I am sure that is your prospective. I have a different perspective because I have seen miracles. Perhaps you have seen them also without realizing it. Muhamed Kahrimanovik can break baseball bats, coconuts and even rocks with his bare hand without breaking a single bone or even his skin.

Me too. I nearly died once.
Oh wait, you don't mean stories about people who nearly died do you? You don't mean actual near death experiences. You mean some bollocks about someone dying temporarily and coming back. The soul temporarily floating away and coming back.
Sorry but that's a load of old bollocks and souls don't exist. And you know this through extensive study? How many NDE books have you read?

I'm plagued by NDE threads all the time in these forums, and I have posted in quite a few. They're easily explicable in terms of human psychology, so there's not an ounce of need to resort to the supernatural for explanations, not unless you're a believer who needs the supernatural explanations to be true for their own psychological comfort.
In other words you have done 0 or little research. However IANDS has done a lot of research and so have many hospitals in more than one country.

Seems like you gave up on arguing against biology and now you're advocating for ghost trips on spirit unicorns. That's straight up retarded.

Their own perspective, eh? I wonder why ...
Because everyone sees things differently. If you were a witness to an automobile accident do you think that all of the other witnesses would have the exact story. I can tell you from experience that they wouldn't.

If one of them told me saint peter lifted a little boy out of the wreckage I'd laugh in his face........

I have read some stuff from NDE research sites. I just don't see anything compelling about them. They're products of human psychology, not supernatural experiences. You've had vivid dreams, no? Do you attribute them to God just because they contain vivid details?

Then that lends more credence to naturalistic explanations rather than supernatural ones, and therefore the naturalistic ones are more reasonable to hold to than the latter. If you're interested, look up Bayesian reasoning.

Other Christians aren't even remotely convinced by this whole "nde" song and dance. They think that you're a mouthy asshole who's probably doing damage to the cause.........
Rebuttal?
I have done extensive research on NDEs. I have talked with people who have had them, read close to 100 books, and gone to IANDS meetings. People who have had full blown NDEs have made drastic changes in their lives. There are people are either afraid of or not interested in NDEs.

Yeah delusion tend to be subjective . And the puzzle is more of them picking up their shattered reasoning skills .
So, you really haven't done any research and expect to be convincing?
