I'm sure that Ancient Egyptians and Romans knew some very useful "mixtures" of elements, but chemistry as a scientific "field" that can be written on paper is the Islamic achievement. Like "H2O+CO2"...

Contrary to what you may have imagined, the transatlantic trade was not a bunch of white guys sifting the congo with human sized nets.  The arab slave trade has been operating since 700ad.  It was that market which was tapped for agricultural labor, a convenient arrangement for all involved parties...since the preference in the middle east was for young girls.  When the european trade ended, the arab markets depended on the US to dump the surplus males, and when the transatlantic trade ended, most of the traffic shifted eastward.

It's still ongoing, suppressed..but not eliminated, by pressure from western nations.

If the Muslims had a problem with Abu Jahl, they should have attacked him. The other examples of persecution you mention did not involve deaths. Attacking caravans is not a just response to persecution, even if a person is killed. What you're justifying is an escalation of violence and the killing of innocent people in order to indirectly harm the guilty. Neither are just, and the latter is an example of guilt by association. Either you believe that I am justified in killing you because you are a Muslim, or you do not. If you do not, then you're being inconsistent in your logic and are nothing but a hypocrite. I'm not allowed to kill innocent Iranians just because of what some other Iranians have done. You're simply advancing immoral justifications for the escalation and the killing. You're in no position to criticize ISIS and others when you do the same as them, all the while claiming that you're different. That just makes you a hypocrite and a liar.
