Well, they tend to espouse a point of view that preaches tolerance for the LGBTQ+ community; they believe in challenging the unfounded righteousness of the right-wing... these are things I do not disagree with. The difference is: I'm not going to attack someone physically for holding views different from mine, no matter how egregious or disgusting I may find their views to be. Outside of actually witnessing or being the victim of violence, I don't use violence to get my point across to people.

Yes, Andy Ngo is a white supremacist.  Like... if you actually know anything about him you wouldn't call him a 'journalist' and certainly wouldn't say he's not a white supremacist.  Yes, asians can be white supremacists.  To act like they can't is disingenuous at best.  Andy NGO provokes people intentionally to get these reactions.  

I'm not going to condone the violence against him.  But I'm also not going to let people act like he's some innocent boy who's just trying to get his story.  Give me a fucking break.  He's an alt right racist who runs with the likes of them in order to provoke responses.  He's no better than James O'Keefe.  He doxxed a woman who had her spine broken by his friends. So let's not act like he's not a fucking asshole.

As I admitted earlier, I don't know much at all about Ngo. His appearance on Rogan seemed innocuous enough and I'm always skeptical of claims like this because of how flippantly some on the left will throw out the "Nazi" headline. It's getting ridiculous at this point. So, if you don't mind, can you cite me some of Ngo's most egregious work? I'm more than happy to hear your side.

At the end of the day, none of this means you're allowed to attack someone. Period. That's where the conversation ends. It's not "Well I don't condone violence BUT" - it's either you condone violence or you don't.

Like I said before, I'm not familiar with Ngo's work. Everything I've heard about him so far as been par-for-the-course; he seems to be a center-of-right journalist who the left has come to demonize. The far left is quick to demonize anyone and everyone that disagrees with them, so excuse me for not immediately buying into the hype and jumping on the bandwagon. If you can show me some of Ngo's work that clearly shows he's a racist, I'd be glad to hear you out.

As true as that may or may not be, Antifa doesn't scare me as much as some of the far-right groups. Internet trolls with bike locks wouldn't scare me. I keep a .45 close by. However, armed militias with compounds and crates of guns? Yea, that's a problem.

Well, they're not centralized on a national or even regional level but they do have city-wide groups that release statements on Facebook and other social media platforms, so you're not 100% correct there. Rules would be enforced on a group basis for specific Antifa groups.

And no, I don't agree with racialism or racism. I think it's a collectivist ideology that completely misses the point of how humans interact with one other. I simply don't believe in attacking people physically because I don't agree with their ideology. Maybe you feel otherwise.

That's the thing, it isn't okay. Normal people do not think this is okay. However the problem is in America only the extreme sides get a voice.

Right. And I have to wonder how much the voices of the extreme ends of the spectrum are simply overshadowing the voices of normal, rational people. A lot of the time I feel like that's what's happening and I'm simply overreacting to something that's only the reaction of a few loud voices. It happens on the left as much as the right and so I feel like I'm always hearing these loud few from each side of the spectrum and sometimes it drowns out the voices of the moderates or the staunch liberals and conservatives.

Antifa doesn’t attack people for disagreeing with them, and in point if fact there is no binding ideology or central authority -within- antifa. The groups and individuals who participate can and do disagree on literally every thing but one. That fascism must be opposed.

Antifa in the us is very much colored by the culture of the us. They have little to nothing in common with the groups that built the mythos in Europe.
