I'm thinking about to buy 200-lb anvil, since I have strong desires to forge something like sword, armor and complex object that can be integrated with my own technology design.
But I need furnace, hammers and crucial tools for blacksmith.

Realising I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
I love that line in "The Mummy" where they are about to hang O'Connell; " Apparently he had a VERY good time"
Some problems with that movie : not only did O'Connell not get to bang the librarian, they killed off all the best characters; Benny, the fat smelly little man, and The Mummy ,with whom I was very simpatico.

I am the exact same way! It seems like I can't do anything with moderation. It's either nothing or a full scale obsession.

I'm pretty crazy about my kids... some might say I'm obsessed, but I dunno. Obsessed is such a strong word. I like 'passionate' better. I'm more passionate about things than obsessed.. I think.

I don't like messy start menus.
Why can't people just create half a dozen folders and put stuff out of the way?
People who have desktops covered in short cuts should be reported, they are probably breeding malaria mosquitoes in old tyres.
The old quick launch menu worked fine, and I always have to force Win7 to revert to it.
With this " " character you can create a folder which appears not to have a name. It's not a space, I forget what it's called I've been using it forever. With it you can create an unobtrusive menu over near the notification area of the task bar.
Transparent window effects look crappy.
I'm not obsessed though, it's just everyone else are either flibbertigibbets or wastrels.

I can't stand having shit all over my desktop either. It leads to folders within folders as I try to minimize all menus as much as possible. Pissed my man off when he was trying to copy my music from my external hard-drive.

Yeah, I have just the icons I need on my desktop and no more. I made a few folders for the desktop that I can keep the icons for the different programs I need. One for general accessories, one for games, etc. I can't stand seeing someone's desktop with a couple dozen icons they don't need on there, like when you download a program and it puts a few icons on your desktop advertising other programs or services. I don't know why most people don't delete them.
