Critical thinking, failed prophecy, listening to folks like fucking Ray Comfort talk to people like Dan Dennett, the bible, logic.

12½ years of Catholic schooling.
A creationist religion teacher (Catholic priest) who was so irrational, he actually made atheism sound good. 10 years of comparative religious study. I read the entire Bible (6 versions). The failure of prayer. Science and reason. An article in THE AMERICAN ATHEIST titled The Agnostic's Dilemma.
"The world is my country; all of humanity are my brethren; and to do good deeds is my religion." (Thomas Paine)
I grew up.
Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
I thought it was most logical at age 12, and I was in a family of atheist father and agnostic theist mother.
I realized my horrible mistake and turned to FSM in all his Noodly glory. My life has been forever changed!
Truth.

At work.
*It is with boiling Pasta I set my meal in motion.* It is by the sauce of bolognese that the repast acquires savor. The lips acquire stains. The stains become a warning. *It is by pasta and sauced meat trappings I place my meal for eating.... * |
