Believing that there is no God and lacking belief are very, very different.
How can you not understand when he explained it in the very post you quote in your reply?
This is a false dichotomy.
I understand, trust me. It is pretty clear that some people just cannot admit that they are wrong. I asked a yes or no question, a question that is either true or false but cannot be neither. One who refuses to answer is simply evading… whether they are aware of it or not.

You are presenting a loaded question, for it showing a blatant shift of the burden of proof. What you are arguing from is the presupposition that your god exists by default. That is your big fallacy.
IMO you aren't doing nothing here but testing your own stubborndess. I told you already, I don't believe in god because you haven't met your burden of proof, you numbskulls that get 'pregnant by what you ear' are easily swayed into believing a talking snake than I ever was.

You have every right to say "yes," and clarify why you say yes, or the other way around, but if you cannot answer this question it should be obvious to all that you are just dodging because you cannot admit defeat.
Answer the following question, By definition it is a yes or no question. I hope you don't refuse to answer.
Have you stopped smoking crack yet?
If you are able to see why this is a flawed question (assuming you never smoked crack), then you will be able to see why your question was also flawed.
There is a difference between believing there is no god, and the absence of belief there is a god.

You asked a question that you believe has only 2 possible answers.Eeveryone here is trying to explain to you why you are wrong.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

No, those who refuse to answer refuses because they would not let you get away with typical christian deceit of asserting a nonsense while duplicitiously using the form of a question.
You are not looking to expand your mind beyond the tired deceit and dogma of christianity by requesting responses appropriate to nuainces of the issue. Instead you are using the form of the question to assert the notion that the artificial and self-serving framework christianity impose should be respected.
It is not respected here, instead it is held in the utmost contempt. get over it.

Hey we're open-minded, we're NOT convicted in our POSITION of NON-BELIEF so ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is present SOME ACTUAL VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE of your GOD CONCEPT and we'll CHANGE OUR WORLD VIEW, but UNTIL you DO you are giving us NO GOOD REASON to believe your claims.
I HIGHLY DOUBT EMPHASISING MY POINT WITH CAPS LOCKS IS SUFFICIENT TO PENETRATE YOUR THICK, IGNORANT AND CONDESCENDING CRANIUM BUT I WILL KEEP ON TRYING.

I'm afraid if you're going to ask a complex question, you're not going to get a simple answer.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space-- in a police box?!?

Ah but it is a simple question to Jeff, as with everything related to god, very...very, simple.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well of course, because, as with most people with that sort of belief system, he thinks in absolutes.

Makes me wonder, Jeff. Would it be moral for a parent to utilize the line of questioning you just used on Cthulhu in order to trick his teenage kid into thinking he must believe in God?
Oh, and have you given up smoking crack or not? I haven't, but then again I never started.

Indeed -- and by facts, too. You thrive in equivocation, obfuscation and obstruction. It is the only environment in which you can continue to kud yourself that you actually have any sort of case.
