I hoped to get through on a spiritual level...I keep forgetting where I am!

You said he was Catholic. He doesn't sound like one in your description. Catholics as a rule cross-reference OT & NT for clarification and depth.

He sounds like a protestant Christian.

But, shouldn't he be the one to explain his points to you? I mean, we are getting 2nd hand information, over wire. Some points don't translate very well in this fashion.

Its not second hand information, i literally copied and pasted it. And no, he rarely explains his points and when he does he uses twisted and warped logic that does not make sense and does not hold up under any scrutiny.

What scrutiny, what are you judging him by to say his answers fail under scrutiny. You are asking spiritual questions and expecting non spiritual answers, that is a double standard being applied with dishonest expectations. Twisted and warped logic, I saw none posted, to you what is his warped and twisted logic, please be specific. Your line of questioning someone also applies to you.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

No proof.

I got one Angel

9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

I can't tell you how relevant this is for me to hear. But I need to ask, will I be at a table with only other shit heads or will I get a celebrity angel or two? Not much point in accepting the lord's invite just to be treated as a second class citizens, you know? I will expect at least as nice a table decoration as that of God's life long, faithful servants. In fact, I may expect them to serve me too if I agree to come. Big Grin

Godschild, i put examples of my questions and his answers earlier on this thread, have a look at them

RE: Christian argument

It sounds like another example of that pinnacle of Christian thinking, "I know you are, but what am I?"

Through the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Fruits of the spirit are like evidences of the Holy Spirit in your life. Kinda like how an apple tree produces apples. If you have a measure of the Holy Spirit you will note spiritual fruit in your life. Gal 5:22 records these fruit.
Quote:What do you mean by empty?
whatever the religion claimed a version of god, enlightenment, spirituality whatever.. Those religions were void unless I brought those things with me.

Quote:Can you give an example of how your religion is more valid and true than the others?
God has reached out to me in several ways. Look up messenger/message, and my Hell thread, not to mention insight to most questions atheist ask.(concerning the God of the bible.)

Quote:There is plenty of proof: eye witness accounts, TV shows, there are even books that mention them and books that are about them specifically.
Then I stand corrected.

These 'answers' are not answers at all.

And my last quote was done sarcastically. You ignored that on purpose to further your own point. The rest of the quote said something like: you see now why we don't take the bible as proof.

Basically all your evidence for the existence of god turns out to be a 'funny feeling'

The answers God gives us are what he need to hear individually. The answers He gave to me were meant for me to establish and maintain My belief. I am tasked with sharing and pointing to the path I used to find God so He can give you your own personal set of answers.

You have been taught to look for XYZ when what God offers is 123. If you want proof of God then look for Him on His terms, and you will find what He has promised.
