I hate it when I'm going through a thread with a response in my head to something absurd only to see that someone has beaten me to the punch.

Oh, well. Kudos to you.

Did you guys know that electrical impulses on nerves are weird?!
So, in case you've never noticed, our nerves are not simple copper wires.
Copper wires transport electrons along the metal's conduction band which works really well.
Nerves, on the other hand sort of lack in metal, so there's no conduction band for electrons to move.
What happens then is that in and around each nerve fiber you have ions... can't remember exactly which, but I think sodium (Na+) and potassium (K+)... and some others...
They're aligned along the nerve and, as one moves from the inside of the nerve to the outside, the ion next to it will also move to the outside, and the next, and the next, and so on until the last ion moves out, delivering its electrical signal to the next bunch of nerves...
The more ions that move at one particular location, the more intense is the "signal"...

bah... who am I kidding, let me look at the wiki... it knows...

Right, nerve conduction is the diffusion of ions perpendicular to the axis of propagation not electrons parallel to that axis.
Kind of looks like what you'd expect if you had to co-opt an existing cell to do signal transport functions.
It is even less like what we generally consider 'electrical' signalling when you consider what happens at the places where nerves meet to communicate and calculate, the synapses. The signal is propagated there not by electrical activity at all but by the secretion of small molecules (neurotransmitters) which diffuse across the synaptic gap between cells and which alter the membrane permeability to the even smaller ions (Na+, K+) to kick off an impulse on the post synaptic cell.
Designed??? Only by an incompetent who likes slow, complicated and inefficient.

True, nerves are weird.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

Because you didn't write the vast majority of it. You copied it.

I'm sorry you feel my gospel message is arrogant. Though I haven't been the one on this thread who is mocking others and calling them names.

Well seeing as God is eternal and outside the realm of this universe it's not that strange. Or do you want to make the claim that the universe is eternal and self sustaining? Even though everything is dying around you? Including yourself.

Then you'd be right, but be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Perhaps you could define for us as laypersons, what does not constitute science.

Is so!

Well, for example, evolutionists sometimes make the claim that evolution has been proved beyond any doubt. I'm talking about the sort of evolution where rocks become humans. So I don't consider that kind of evolution to be scientific fact. Also when someone makes the claim that there definitely is no God, and then gives "scientific proof" of this. Yet there is no science that can prove the non existence of God. As He exists apart from science; He is supernatural:

"As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything." (Ecc 11:5)

I am sure that in your delusions you think that eventually you'll get to God or Jesus as the driver for life.

Sadly you are 100% wrong. We know from your gospel that Jesus didn't have a clue about basic biology. The alimentary canal was completely beyond him - he showed no concept of the function of eating and he thought that the heart is where thoughts and morality came from. In short - he was a moron.

Here's a passage from Mark 7 - read it. Tell what it says about Jesus' knowledge of how biology works - note the complete lack of mention of the brain - anywhere in his diatribe:

14 Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. 15 Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” [16] [f]

17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18 “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19 For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)

20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.

I don't have to get to God. He is already with me.

Good, because neither do scientists.

You're thinking of the fantastical version of evolution that only exists in simple, creationist minds in which the world should be swarming with crocoducks. That's as phony as your god.

(Pro Tip: Try actually learning what science has to say before rejecting it in favor of magic sky wizards.)

I actually don't care how scientifically ignorant my statement was. I'm just glad you agree that evolution isn't a fact.

Can I ask you, is it possible that what I believe is true? Now I realise that you might see it as a billion to one chance, but all I ask is, is it possible?

I agreed that the evolution where rocks become humans isn't fact.

And of course you don't care about your scientific ignorance. You wouldn't be a creationist if you did.

Only in the sense that it is possible that I will wake up in the morning next to a naked Halle Berry giving me the winning lotto numbers for next week.

What you should ask is is it probable?
