No Chas. What the words actually say is not what your poor English translation can be understood to say superficially. This isn't a grey area. The meaning is quite clear.

The problem is that you are quoting a flowered up translation of the Old Testament. Go back and consult the original texts. Do your own translations.
The straight translation is "Beginings Energy Light Creates Matter. . .".
Different isn't it? Also shows that originally shows dual gods. Energy "El" (Father) Light "Astarte" (Mother) and foreshadows the Son, as Matter.

How many other ways has the Bible been misrepresented?
Sure sounds like science to me. Just a different version of E=MC2.
