I'm sure that thought terrifies nuts like you.
Incapable of summarizing your argument? I doubt you've read the Bible, but that doesn't stop you from opening your pie hole.
Read the fucking book, asshole. No, I cannot summarize it for you nor would I even want to try. All of human knowledge cannot reduced to the length of a bible verse so shitheads like you won't strain your brains reading it. He cites the work of many archaeologists and you'll just have to put your fucking shitty bible down and read it...or remain ignorant which seems to be your natural state.
If you watch Ancient Aliens videos and pretend they are real you have already told me enough about your level of 'scholarship.' Just a flaming shithead without a clue about the past.

I love Min's no-nonsense way of stating things.

"Who is God?".
The one who created Heaven and Earth.
"How did God create Heaven and Earth?"
By his words.
"Who created God?"
An eternal being does not need a creator.
All the above "answers" tell us the square root of bugger all.

I don't have time to go read your book in the course of this debate, so if you have a point, state it. The fact that you are unable to articulate your book to anyone else is not my fault.

That one's a banned goner anyway.
His answer to how god created heaven and earth is pretty interesting though, since god obviously had reached a state of mind when talking to himself seemed like a splendid idea.
Can't blame him, honestly. Being held in solitary confinement for aeons can seriously hurt your brain.

I am new to these forums, therefore I have a hefty amount of things rolling around in my mind that need discussion .. allow me to start with this.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
Right, so the first 10 words into the bible .. and there is thousands of questions unanswered already.
Who is god ? .. How did he create the heavens and the earth ? Who created god ? ..
I would really like to hear some words from someone who believes in genesis. I have no idea how anyone could possibly find this a feasible beginning to the beauty of life.
The statement is pretty simple in itself. It means just what it says--that God created our universe. That was the beginning of the universe. The writer and the readers already believed in God. You need to read the rest of the bible to expound on the first sentence.

He asked how this "God" did it and who created that god. I don't think anywhere else in the mythology expands on those questions.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

It says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
That describes a creation process, not a 'temple' of any sorts.
And if you look at the text in context and with reference to beliefs and language of the time you'll see very clearly. Clearly beyond reasonable doubt. That this is precisely not cosmology or origins being described. You're taking a simple sentence out of context and making assumptions next to your current day context. That is completely inappropriate and unhelpful. I would challenge you to back up your point with a fraction of the evidence presented. No such evidence is forthcoming from any other position that I know of.

"How did god create the universe?"
"By creating it!"
Does that sound like an answer at all to you, Lek?

Well you can say this steak I am eating right now came from a cow. Which came from the store. Which came from the butcher. Which came from the farm. And so on and so on. But eventually you will say where did the universe come from.
Then that's when God comes in. Because He only logical answer to the creation of the universe is some one created it (set the dominos into motion.) . And that my friend is God.
But let me ask you this who is God? Well by this I am trying to show that God is the unmoved mover nothing set him in motion He set the universe into motion. Ulitmently leading up to my steak. You see we can't have have something come from nothing it just does not work that way.
Special pleading.
