Now I realize new atheism is just anti Christianity.
Um no were just anti stupid. We just don't believe in god. Like most of the newer generations that are growing up are most likely going to be atheists because well religion only can be around for so long and children guess what are smart and they know fact from fiction.
No but saying Christianity ruined the world or saying sacrificial religions are better is really saying something

Religion did ruin the world more or less ruined humanity and corrupted it. The church created problems in the world or even latched onto issues and created a false world view of fear to get people to join in and give them money. Catholic church has been the issue with spreading diseases such as HIV and Aids in africa people over there listened to the pope and stopped using condoms and that is just on example of the church doing evil vile things.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

They also said don't have sex outside of marriage. What about that?
People take what they want and leave the rest. WHO apart from the most serious Catholics would listen to the condom thing?
From Wikipedia: According to UNAIDS, the Vatican estimates that Catholic Church-related organizations provide approximately 25% of all HIV treatment, care, and support throughout the world. In 2010, the Vatican reported that more than 5,000 hospitals, 18,000 dispensaries, and 9,000 orphanages, many involved in AIDS-related activities, were being supported by the Catholic Church.[4] The World Health Organization has estimated that faith-based groups provide between 30% and 70% of all health care in Africa.
From the Guardian: [T]he Catholic Church is the biggest private provider of AIDS care in the world, providing anti-retroviral treatment, home-care visits and counseling to one in four of the world's 33.3 million AIDS patients, according to the Catholic charity Caritas International. In 2008, members of the Catholic HIV and AIDS network spent 180 million euros (about $235 million) on assistance..

There is no "new atheism". And to try and generalize atheists as a whole based on a couple of posts is ludicrous.
Yes, christianty is fucking diabolical, sorry. So is islam. So to a lesser extent are many other religions. That is my opinion only.

I am not generalizing atheists as being anti Christian as aren't you generalizing christians to be diabolical.
That's just your opinion on what it is. I don't know how you would put christ and diabolical in the same sentence but that's none of my business.
I was only highlighting the mistake in dyresands post by sharing statistics on what the catholic Church is doing to help africans. How can you read it and call that diabolical . . . ?
Looking at a thing/ system as purely evil or purely good provides a narrow way of seeing life

I wasn't talking about individual christians, but the belief system itself. Yes, I have many reasons for thinking it's diabolical. By that, I mean its potential for harm, and the easy way in which horrible acts can be justified; as well as its horrible history and the harm still being caused today. Of course there will be good christians as well, it's up to each individual what they do with their beliefs and what impact they have.
Seems like I misunderstood your use of the phrase "new atheism" sorry.

Christianity perpetuates the myth that "the bible" is somehow the word of God and should be taken very seriously. It holds up the fictional "God" character in this book as the ultimate standard of good morality. However, this character is the most evil creation in all of fiction. He's murderous, genocidal, a liar, a manipulator, egomaniacal, contradictory, sexist, orders mass slaughter and rape for no good reason, kills people on a whim for no justifiable reason, he loves the smell of burning animals and demands animal sacrifices, he condones and regulates slavery, telling people how they can buy slaves, how much they can beat them, and how they can be your property, even their offspring, he sends people to "hell" for refusing to worship him, he demands weird bodily mutilations like circumcision, he chooses his favourite people and then makes sure they win battles as they go murdering and pillaging through town after town, he sets up impossible standards and then makes you feel terrible when you don't live up to them, he hates homosexuality, he looked kindly upon the man who gives his daughters up for gang rape and destroys the rest of the town, he continues to fuck up his own plans and then corrects them with murder, violence and blame of others, he says he is "good" over and over again while behaving in exactly the opposite manner, he gives ludicrous commandments which were nothing to do with morality even when made, and generally are just about serving him as he sees fit, he decides to impregnate a woman without her consent...
OK, that's enough for now. THAT is the character Christianity is promoting as the ultimate moral character. But to aspire to be anything like him is to be utterly evil.
I got plenty more to say about Christianity, but this post is long enough. If you want me to keep going, I'll move onto the next chapter.
Let me be clear, I'm not attacking christians. I'm giving my opinion of what they put their belief in, and why I hate that belief. I know not everyone takes the bible to be the word of God, but that is the very clear message being sent.
