I agree

It's like atheists buying the God delusion. Bad theology sells just like bad science.

Are you implying there is bad science in the god delusion?Thinking

Not at all. I'm stating quite clearly that there is terrible, infantile theology going on in there. Dawkins is the Ray Comfort of the theist world.

I'm consistently flummoxed by creationists (all franchises) who are always insisting that the odds of a universe with intelligently life are tiny.

The probability of a universe with intelligent life is 1.0.

Ray Comfort uses bad science to support his stupid beliefs so what I am seeing is still an implication that the science in the god delusion is flawed.

The theological points made in the god delusion may be simplistic but are they wrong?
If so why?
I couldn't see any errors in his logic and theology is the most useless of all ologies it is a study in nothing, a minor branch of anthropology at best.

The point is also a bit that RD's aim was not so much to address the views of a few sophisticated theologians, but the actual views of the majority of real life devout believers. It's been years since I've read it, but I took it as some light amusement, and it indeed was funny from time to time.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition

I never understand how these people that claim improbability always fail to factor in time.

Improbable =/= impossible. Life is here, thus the events that led to the evolution of life did occur.

It might be billions and billions to one, but when you consider you've got billions of years those odds seem to be less unlikely.

Except that it isn't billions to one. it's one to one. Unity, as you said, here we are. Retroactive claims of probability to an event known to have occurred is misapplication of principle. The event isn't probable/improbable, by any measure...it's certain. Boru beat me to it.....but it got repeated...so....
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Simple and plain as day god didn't do anything. god is just the normal stance on when people cannot find a answer to things like where humanity came from.
