I hate people exiting fast-moving vehicles onto tarmac in non-protective clothing, and not requiring weeks of surgery and skin grafts after shredding their elbows and various body parts to the bone from the friction.
I mean, I don't actually want to see that, but nor do I like seeing stupid.

Someone with absolutely crucial life-or-death information for the mission is ignored to the extent that they can't even get a word in sideways to yell something like "enemies coming!" because the higher-ups are too busy and always say "not now". This is such a lame plot device when it is overdone as it usually is.

Movies with paranormal stuff going on, where the hero is trying to convince all the stupid idiots that there "really is a big ghost monster lizard!" And we're meant to sympathize with someone spouting nonsense with no evidence and be frustrated with all the "cynical sceptics who just won't believe". The nonsense spouter just happen to be right this time because it's a film. Fuck that!

What I find even worse is that sometimes, in-universe in these films, it actually is blatantly obvious that there is a ghost monster lizard, but the "skeptic" will ignore the obvious evidence even as the monster lizard is eating people left and right, because that's what skeptics are like in the minds of hollywood writers.

Haha yeah, good point.
Sceptics get a very poor deal in films.

Yeah, it's not just that writers show disdain for my peer group, it's a more of a general problem of educating society - many movies are essentially propaganda against a rational world view. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing whatsoever against "supernatural" stuff happening in movies, of course. But the audience is shown, again and again, a cartoon version of rationality within those fictions which is tantamount to fanatic denial. The narrative is that a skeptical outlook is nothing but zealous denial of "higher things", and that the people holding it are necessarily troubled souls who are blinded by their whatever. It's poisonous. Dumbass writers probably got laughed at because of their reiki club membership and now want to show them.

How about superheroes that forget half their powers... just so the movie can take you hour and a half?
Couldn't superman turn back time?
Oh... any time traveling plot is also wrong - remember, kids, the planet Earth is moving around the sun, which is moving around the milky way, which is moving at some speed through the absolute cosmical coordinate system - all time travelers should appear in outer space, unless they counter for all that extra spatial traveling.

It's a general problem of SF scripts that they often introduce tech/powers in order to resolve a situation that would invalidate the premise of the entire film/series if not instantly forgotten. For example, it is not all that difficult for the Enterprise in ST IV to travel back to 1984. Why don't villains/good guys do that all the time to change history? It's never again mentioned as a possible course of action, except in the rare instances when it is.

Well... the borg sorta did that in ST -First Contact.... but they could so easily have gone further back in time, say... the fifties... and turned all those unsuspecting humans into awesome borg... and no vulcans would be within reach.
Time travel is always poorly done... but we just keep on wishing it was possible, don't we?
