Just read this and tell me what you think.

If it's a hallucination, it's an individual hallucination. You seem to be talking about some sort of shared group hallucination, that doesn't make sense. It would require everyone to have the same levels of whatever to keep it consistent.

If this is a hallucination for me, you lot aren't real at all full stop. It doesn't mean you do exist anywhere else.

Scenario 1: The brain produces chemicals right, the amount of chemical being produced is the same for all humans, and this creates the perspective we see.

If the brain produced more DMT for all humans all day the perspective we see would be completely different. In this scenario would humans realise scenario 1 as a hallucination? They would because this is not the norm.

However both scenarios do exist. The only difference is the amount of time we are in each scenario, which is on what we base our science knowledge on. Maybe there is more to the life we know however we do not know now because we only learn and understand in one level on consciousness .

Those two scenarios and any number of others as well. Must be tough not to reliably recognize which is consensual reality among the many options.

Did you know when people use the substance to increase their levels of DMT, the places they go to and the 'beings' they see and interact with are very similar, so similar that actual names have been given to these 'beings' people see when they are in the altered state. It doesn't matter what corner of the world you were brought up with these 'beings' you see and interact with can be identified.

Okay... but if I do something to a being in a hallucination, that's not going to do anything in the real world to the "real" version of it. This sounds a bit off the rails now.

because DMT is not a drug, it is produced naturally in the brain. High levels of DMT in the brain causes these 'hallucinations' which are very similar for all humans.

This is just the brain in a vat thing. There is no way to know that we're not that but it is of no practical consideration. The only logical way to live your life is to assume that the reality you perceive is indeed real. Any other way is madness.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Of course they were, if the human brain were to naturally produce DMT constantly everyday of our lives of every single human being on this planet, the our laws of physics would be completely different to what they are now.

No, what I mean is that are you claiming that the physical interactions between matter, space, and time were literally created by our consciousness? That without our consciousness the laws that govern the universe would cease to exist/function?

Yeah, unfalsifiable I think so it's fun but cannot be investigated.

I can be dreaming, and you lot are nothing more than parts of my dream. I could wake up in a vat, obviously, and be somewhere utterly different where none of you exist at all.

Or any number of other scenarios. We can never know which.

The best you could say, I suppose, is that we are "all hallucinating" but only to an absolutely tiny degree, where reality doesn't get significantly altered for us to notice the desynch. Anything else and it stops being a group experience and you're just off in la la land.

It's possible that there is life after death. It being possible doesn't mean it's likely, but as you no doubt would point out, that depends upon what our view of reality is. It's possible that if I were on DMT, and had time to explore that world, I might come to a different conclusion. We can only assume that there is a correlation between my mind's model of the world and the actual world itself. But having let go of that assumption, what is to tell us what is the likely world we actually inhabit? Why prefer life after death to reincarnation, for example?
