You want me to compare the Koran to science books? Or what else? I really don't know what you mean. You haven't said anything more about your method.
I've listened endlessly to religious arguments, I've heard the one you've made about 200 times before. It's not like I haven't thought about it, I've made a whole website about my thoughts. I'm raising my objections to your arguments, and you're brushing them aside. If these are your real reasons for belief, you ought to be able to support them rationally. Well what I'm I supposed to search he says for me life is an endless search and history is important and an endless sea for knowledge.
As for u'r argument I gave replies to u'r argument so repeating ourselves isn't going to help leave it out there and people will see it and decide for themselves.
Don't compare quran with science if u don't want to that's our jobs as muslims not yours but at least read it as an entity read tafsir not the modern ones necessarily read the old ones such as Ibn katheer and see how muslims understood quran in older days and compare it to these days u want find much of a difference trust me.

Sure, I'm always looking for new knowledge. I just have no reason to think I'll find it in ancient books that have already been dissected endlessly. I take what is useful from a book and move on.
OK well, I didn't follow your replies at all, but I guess we're finished then. Thanks for the discussion

No, I read your replies, I meant I didn't understand them or how they address my points. I didn't mean I wasn't reading them! I'm glad it's been interesting to you too I always like a debate.

That'll be a short conversation. I can sum it up. Ethics and morality are rationalized by "both sides" in largely the same manner, the only difference is the framework one begins with.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

But if u mean the debate isn't over it is not.
I think what she meant the debate is over for her at least she had the curtsy to admit that she doesn't know everthing unlike other members here hhhhhhh.
No one is stopping anyone from leaving. It's a free forum.
There isn't any "debate". There never has been a debate, other than in the believes-in-fairy-tales minds. It is up to the believer to make their case; something they routinely fail to do. I merely pointed out flaws in her argument and drove home the point. Maybe she is new at this.
She can bow out and will hopefully get better educated on subjects she apparently knows little about. That's OK, as knowledge and critical thinking ultimately can lead to abandoning these extremely dangerous beliefs. Which is a good thing for all of us as humans.

Please don't!

Here's the thing.
Even if there was some powerful being or other who co-authored a book, what difference does it make? What am I supposed to do about it? It's still just a book.
