Where is heaven located? Also, why does God care about homo sapiens?

So where do religious people think heaven exists? The earth's upper atmosphere? Within our solar system? Outside our observable universe? And WHY with so much real estate to lord over does god care what the fuck human beings do to the point of dictating the very last detail of our lives? Inquiring minds are looking to gain a greater understanding of what kind of delusional disorder we're actually dealing with here...

That’s news to me.
I was under the impression that family and friends cared about me. Maybe, I’m missing something somewhere in the definition of care… but I doubt it.

Actually, that's only partially wrong.
Some people find heaven where the fudge is made.

Quite clearly, it used to be in the sky. Back then they thought the earth was flat. Heaven was up, hell was down. People still talk in those terms today. "She's looking down on me from heaven".
Once we found out this was all wrong, suddenly they had to make up new stories to accommodate the fact that they aren't where they said they were.
Take the Tower of Babel story. God was concerned that the tower they were building would reach heaven, and so had to ruin their plans for some reason. So clearly the people writing this thought heaven was not very far away from Earth.
The idea that God would care about humans, let alone individual ones, is absurd. People just need to feel special.

Heaven is located at height X+1 where X is how far science can investigate at any given time.
