Have you ever made a thread with pictures of some of your pieces and some comments about them? I would find that very fascinating. Being a huge baroque and renaissance music fan, I would love to see you make a theorbo.

Yeh I'm a guitar player and I didn't know Brian made guitars.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I've been held captive by my wife for 30 years.
She makes me work hard and then she spends it on her nails, hair, massages, clothes, etc

I am her slave. Someone please inform the authorities.

Since it seems your wife is a pretty big authority in your life, I should forward this to her Angel

Farmer.

Volunteer quite a bit in the off season.

In my life I've done delivery work, factory work, breaking shit in a test laboratory, desk job at a defense contractor, and self employed for a while doing wiring jobs.

I'm a lawyer. Right now I work for a judge as a law clerk (pretty common starting job out of law school, pay is not good but experience is really positive/helpful). Between student loans (which are large), rent, food, car, and such I don't have a whole ton of money to spend month-to-month, although I do save up to treat myself to things I enjoy (like, budgeting maybe $50 monthly to golf in the summer). I'm 16 months through the 2 year term working for the judge. Pretty soon, I'll figure out where I'm going next. If it's a law firm, which I suspect it will be, it will pay a good deal more than the current job. I'm putting about $100 per month into savings right now (which I occasionally have to dip into when something major comes up); my goal by the end of 2016 would be to get that a lot higher.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

I am in sales for one of the biggest companies in the world. My income is 6 figures and my household income would make people hate me so I won't say what it is.

I live in a 4300 square foot house that has 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 5 garage spaces. I have land that extends to a river where I fish, hunt, and ride recreational vehicles.

RE: How do you earn money?
I was a self-employed musician for 30 years.  (Piano, organ, keyboards, flute.) Teaching, playing various gigs, church stuff, judging piano competitions, etc.  But even when the economy was good, my peers were amazed that a single person was managing to pay the bills as a piano teacher.  (You take EVERY gig you can find - that's the secret.)  Then the economy tanked and enrollment everywhere dropped.

I'm now a librarian.  Our organization provides state-wide educational materials to visually-impaired individuals, and works closely with the State School for the Blind here.  I still play, and am toying with the idea of teaching 2 nights a week.  I would love to play for a theater, if I could find a gig that actually pays it's accompanist . . .
