Our regional brewer's festival starts tomorrow and ia a few blocks from my office.

I'm on a diet. Fuck it, I'm skipping food and using the calories for beer.

I'm an occasional poster on a homebrewing forum - a few years ago, one of the regulars went on a beer-only diet for 30 days on a bet. IIRC, he made it less than two weeks.

Having a date with a BEAUTIFUL woman I used to work with. She is stunning - I mean it.

She seems really into me and we've arranged to meet up with friends on Friday night and then start dating if we feel things could work out. We've texted all week and we get along like we've never been away. I haven't seen her for FOUR YEARS though.

My wife left me as - and I quote - she "didn't love me anymore" and "wanted to see other people."

Yes.

My WIFE. Not my girlfriend!! Amazing.

Anyway. I'm incredibly nervous about this as it's the first I've even thought about being with someone else in the 18 months since that time and I really want this to work out.
