Honestly, given the Republican Party’s stated views on traditional marriage, this either demonstrates the blatant hypocrisy behind their stance or it holds a dark mirror up to how regressive their increasingly radicalized view of women, marriage, and relationships really is.

It’s an in-joke from my old days at the Newspeak Dictionary forums. I don’t know about the other guys there, but I kept the tradition alive, because it’s funny.

I think it was Alice, or V, or whatever her name was here who used to include it in her polls on this forum.

Well, I was using it in 2007. Maybe it started in 2008, so it would seem I’ve been using it longer. Maybe it’s a bigger thing in forums than we thought. Or maybe Alice met with some other ND refugees.
