RE: So, Brits. How's Brexit Going?

I liked the idea that I could go and work in France or Germany with minimal paperwork, after brexit that will be more difficult. another freedom lost!

I'm sure having the WLB sit down with Putin to give away the store will not have any impact on Europe.
Of course, he's a fucking moron so you never know.

The best quote I heard about Boris Johnson is "He would be great fun at a party, but you wouldn't want him to drive you home afterwards!"

I'm currently in the process of obtaining a German passport because I was born a German citizen because my Dad is German even though I was born in Britain. I didn't want to move back to the UK and settle here but emigrating needs to be a success for everyone that comes with you. As long as I can provide the documents they ask it shouldn't be a problem.
My brother on the other hand was born in Germany, has a German passport but has lived in England for as long as he remembers because my parents moved here when he was a baby. My mum's a native Brit. He's having a hellish time obtaining British citizenship and it's costing a small fortune. Seems like Brexit is a cash-cow for some companies. I would not be surprised if some Brexit Tory politicians were personally profiting from this. After all, Farage was spotted at a German embassy obtaining German citizenship for his children (his wife is German).

It will, in March, and given the way the Tories are going it'll be cliff edge no deal brexit.
The EU has no reason to keep the UK in after the deadline.

This is what happens when people vote on ignorance and emotion

My sister-in-law voted for Brexit despite her husband being a German without British citizenship because she went on feels after people convinced her to.
They're also both extremely religious people.

EU has every reason to make an example of Britain. Once out, the EU will never readmitt the UK except on the terms of UK’s unconditional surrender and being granted much less influence than any current members. So Britain will live in perpetual limbo where things are much worse outside and yet no government can survive the sort of capitulation needed to get back inside.

They also have every reason to make good with Scotland which voted to remain by a much larger margin but were still forced out against their will. Which would also further make an example of the rest of the UK with having it break apart by leaving.
Also Scotland is an oil producing country.
