Well I tried and just can't get into this. It's a fantasy story, whether you take it literal, source it (1 writer, two, many), make rationalizations and/or justifications, give it multiple meanings, blah, blah, blah, it's still a fantasy story. The best I got anymore is making fun of it's absurdity.
