One of the Co-founders of Taliban,Likely to be Afghanistan New President

RE: One of the Co-founders of Taliban,Likely to be Afghanistan New President
-and how have the "elected" coalitions the afghans put in place been doing for afghan people? The CIA didnt turn them into the people they are, people of no nation - it exploited what was already there...as it always does, since cia isn't the all powerful ex nihilo creator of human circumstance anywhere it operates.

The current state of affairs is a humanitarian disaster made worse, chielfy, by us withdrawal. They'll have a civil war soon enough as en entire generation of people grew up outside of taliban rule. More will die. If the "wrong side" wins that..it will happen again. Again and again ad infinitum only for the refusal of others who could help...to help. Only for the discord of taliban sympathizers amongst the otherwise helpful.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I sometimes like to add subtlety to a comment, This time I won't.

As a completely unapologetic ad hominem remark; Winterhold, you are an amoral cretin.

as for this...

Yep, entirely sure.  They lost their whole country...every bit of it.... lost a generation of it's people, and didn't get it back until Trump decided to cut the afghan government out and negotiate directly with the taliban...who had always been negotiating with the regular government.

The whole point of the talibans pr blitz, which obviously has you so enamored as an islmaist, is to make them an accetible authority and equal as a partner to the us and wider global community in the coming years of rule.  They must be seen to be legitimate, in order to cash in the benefits of legitimacy.

One group of collaboraters flies out, another group seeks to consolidate their collaborative position. Years ago they were given an ultimatum - give us bin ladin or else. They chose or else, and they got or else, and now they want a reset as if they'd given him up from the word go. The taliban of today is not the taliban of yesteryear - their only continuity being a commitment to human rights abuse as sanctioned by your shared god.

I thought the "humanitarian crisis" took place by the soviet invasion, followed by the U.S invasion ! I mean both invasions caused:

Then

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta...fghanistan

Western invasion forces and Russians (or as I call them: Gog and Magog) are the main cause of humanitarian crisis in this country; we tried American and Russian invasions in Iraq & Syria; you are the cause of any global mayhem and deaths. You even love your dogs more than you love your allies:

Your state's foreign policy is the main cause of instability and mayhem. You are not humans, and the whole world saw what you are and what your wars were for.

With all the graveyard of empires talk, you'd think a guy might realize that shit was going awry in afghanistan before the first colonist ever left europe for american shores. The most accurate and scathing criticism of the current us policy is that we're putting things back the way we found them.

Mind you, I don't know what sense it would make to bicker with a non human about any of this.

The U.S is "not putting things the way they are"; it is "withdrawing its soldiers and resorting to its local proxies to do the dirty work for them". We saw this tactic in all Arab countries for example; just like Iraq: the Taliban will have a new war of orchestrated coups supported by the U.S.

If Biden couldn't handle the new war; Trump will return and continue it.

Note that people bringing "change to the U.S foreign policy" are being fought and suppressed; people like Bernie Sanders for example.

That of course if other super-powers didn't bloom.

It's fighting a deranged group of killers without risking any more of it's citizens

Even if Trump did return to power, he's the one who negotiated the pullout.  His stance on foreign wars was to end them.  That's the single thing I can somewhat agree with him on.  To Trump it was all about how much it cost.
Why is it so?

@WinterHold
We're definitely putting things back..the way we found them.  Dancing boys, routine human rights abuse, corruption, the whole islamist kit and kaboodle.

If you think we have proxies there to do work for us in our absence, well..that was also true before the invasion.  I guess the fact that the taliban seeks to act like just such a proxy going forward is a change.

Ah, what a big fat lie. Taliban are still backward and savage.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
