Well, my ancestors weren't captured by him, though, he probably couldn't even catch them.
So I have no real trouble with him, but the Romanians don't seem to be hating him or something, so according to them, he ought to be in heaven, and the germans hated him, so for them, he ought to be in hell.

Besides, Vlad the impaler, from whom Stoker based his character Dracula on, didn't live in Transylvania, he lived in Wallachia, and was not a Szekely(Hun/Cuman), but a Romanian like John Hunyadi.

And both of these places are provinces of (now)Romania?
Yes, but Romania(aka Ciganystan) still occupies a portion of rightful Hungarian land.

I gave up 'rightful' a long time ago and so should you. Romania is still what we may refer to as Trans-sylvania.. the last bastion of native forests in Europe. Interesting blood line Murad XIV had.
You're Magyar?

This my friend is what is still under genealogical investigation as we speak. It just MAY be possible.

The greatest was, indeed Arpad.
I, as a Turk, view the Magyars as the closest people to us in Europe, as a whole. Not our former muslim subjects, like Bosnians and Albanians, as they may have adopted our religion, and maybe some of our customs, but our history and lineage meet eachother with the Magyars.
I also hope to attend the Kurultai in Hungary this year, hopefully.

Fluidity and liquidity of cultural origins and all that. What is it about the snapshot in time you refer to as your own culture that appeals to you?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The times when we were all nomadic horseback warriors.

That, in and of itself, is a decent daydream.

I'm not daydreaming. I generally draw it to visualize it in front of me. Every steppe-folk that has crossed the planes of central asia to get to the west, I probably drew it already.

What I meant by that, was that as long as we remove the rest of the shit those people had to deal with, and think only off riding horses, pillaging and whatnot, it's decent. Add in the rest and you're obviously much better off where and when you are now. We do that a lot though. Imagine some part of the near or distant past and lay that construct over the things we take for granted in the here and now. What if you weren't a warrior, or socially respected? Disease? Hardships? Of course even if you were well placed the price of playing this game was your life. Just to name a few.
