More than a little bit disturbing that someone thinks their own fantasies to rob you at gunpoint are a good argument for gun ownership.

Back when Dubya was in the White House a nutter opened fire on it with an AKS. A good guy without a gun took him down. Having a gun doesn't automatically make you a winner. NRA parrots will, as usual, claim otherwise.

I know what an AK is. I even know what the differences are between an AK-47, AKM, AK-74 and RPK. I even know what an SKS is.

But I have no clue what an AKS is. Was that a typo or something new I need to know about?

Something I' ve noticed over the years.

Frequently those people that are the most against guns are those who can' t legally own them.

And even more often - in the cases of blowhards who pronounce blades or martial arts as superior for self defense.

You can always spot the type.
