No. Both men and women can contribute ideas and there are many great women saints who have contributed greatly to the Church.
We believe only men can perform sacraments which we believe promote a healthy spiritual life. That's what I mean by "give spiritual life." While on the other hand, only women can give physical life through carrying a child and giving birth.

In that case I would assume female seahorses can be priests.
