Well that seems like a meaningless gesture.
So, Brits. How's Brexit Going?

Better to print out such a letter and shove it up May's ass.

Well, whatever it may or may not achieve, it would be nice for them to know that it was not a landslide victory for Brexit... that it cannot be said in any way to represent the wishes of Britain as a whole, just half of it. Small comfort maybe, but still comfort. But I might view the situation differently if I were familiar with the arguments that were made by those in favor of Brexit. We have relatives who voted Brexit "to get the foreigners out" that was all. I have heard some people mention some strange rules set by Europe as well but mainly it was the racism. Brexiteers’s claimed reasons are broadly similar to those given by southern States wishing to give ideologically more palatable cover for keeping negros enslaved, and the real reasons are also more than a little analogous. Or voting for a small party that won't win. Currently remainers have no voice and the government are talking about implementing the will of the people (they are not). Brexiters are talking up the small majority that won even though that majority probably no longer exists. Both main parties want Brexit so there's no one to vote for to stop it. There is no second referendum planned either. We need to do seize every opportunity to help stop Brexit. You could equally say that Americans waving placards saying 'NOT MY PRESIDENT' is a meaningless gesture. It's not. We need to remind the government that there is a very large proportion of the electorate being ignored and we're not happy. To hear the Daily Mail tell it, the whole country's full of brexiters... and all remainers... what they call remoaners... have either switched sides or are too ashamed to show their faces. I like the Daily Mail... see it basically as the Sun without the tits ... so an entertaining if not necessarily accurate read just they are incredibly biased about Brexit, and it's almost amusing to see them trying to dictate a reality they hope would be the case but clearly isn't... as if saying it enough times will make it true.

I hate "Brexiteer" it makes them sound romantic, like they're off to fight the kings guards. I prefer brexis, gives them the right wing sound that they deserve.
