It was a pre-trial conference, and I was awarded a trial, all of the evidence i submitted to discovery was admitted, all my witnesses were approved, and what's best... my daughter was assigned a guardian ad litem.Wow, don't mind my honesty, aleia, but did you search really hard for his kind of men to get pregnant from? Still, good that you got the custody for your child. He seems to be an awful person. Üze Tengri basmasar, asra Yir telinmeser, Türük bodun ilingin törüngin kim artatı udaçı erti?
Not only should you get custody, the court should keep this guy away from all children.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Amazingly enough, people manage to convince others that they're one thing while being something else. Didn't you see where Mr. Dumbass-Father managed to convince the courts he was A-OK for a year? And only when they stopped watching him, did the mask get removed? The games people play... Slave to the Patriarchy no more
It took so long because his mother has paid her entire life savings to secure him legal counsel- the best in Nashville. They've been keeping it tied up for months. Also, the Child Protective Services case worker was fired 3 weeks ago for not doing her job (I'm a fucking boss when you piss me off), and the case just got re-opened. She got all giggly talking about him on the phone, like she was just crazy about him.
That leads me to answer your question, mehmet. He is very handsome, and extremely charming, I met him through a mutual friend who was helping me get hooked up with a steady weed man... he was the steady weed man. He begged me for a couple of weeks to go out with him, until I finally broke down and agreed. He took me out to dinner at a romantic bistro downtown, and then stopped traffic to dance with me in the street to the sound of honking angry people. He convinced me he was happily separated from his wife, and I believed him because he was so affectionate with me right in front of his entire family. We dated for 4 months, and then when I found out I was pregnant, he promised he'd stay with me, that we'd get a place together, etc.. We had sex AGAIN that night, and before I left, he told me to call him in the morning. I did call him, but his sister answered and informed me that he had gone to pick up his wife and kids and moved back to Alabama. I didn't hear from him or see him again until our daughter was 9 months old. He told his entire family that we never had sex, and I had to subpoena his DNA. When the judge read the DNA results, there were only 2 not shocked faces in the room, and one of them was his. Anyway, here we are now. I regret ever seeking him out. I just did it because I didn't know he was THAT horrible, and my daughter, I thought, deserved to know her father. I think he should be locked up, personally. Lizzy has suffered so much because of all this, I just hope it's resolved quickly for her sake, and she gets to be in the only place she wants to be (with me) very soon. His high dollar legal council was speechless after I got done today. Then when we left the courtroom, his entourage started shouting that I was a liar in the hall outside the courtroom. They made a big dramatic scene, pretending to have to be held back from kicking my ass. His lawyer said to him "You're going to lose custody if you keep bringing your family that acts like this." I wanted to say, "He's gonna lose custody anyway!", but I kept my dignity, and walked out smiling, with my head held high. He made a big show of the three rows of friends and family he brought with him. "See how much support I have.", but I explained to the judge that I understood that there was limited seating in the courtroom, and I am perfectly capable of attending court alone, as I am an independent, and fierce foxy female mother bear. It was awesome, and I have been flying high all day, knowing that my daughter is going to be safe very soon, and that he is probably on his best behavior right now. Thanks to all my AF friends for your words of support! 42
It is always sad when a child can't have both parents in her life, but its still better this way than to have her endangered by an alcoholic and immature man with no real investment in his spawn. First he denies she's his, then he squanders his mother's savings to fight to to win her away from you. What a .. what's the word? Fucktard!

And well, this all sounds like a romantic comedy movie, I can figure why he appeared to be such a lovely man to you. Even though they say that they're divorced, I mean. Why did he come back, I wonder. Quote:Anyway, here we are now. I regret ever seeking him out. At the end, it comes to you whether to reject or allow is advances. I think if there is a blame on the background of this story, it's on both sides. For the custody of the child, well, you're not married, he seems to have a wife and other children aswell...So meaning, he conceived a child while he was married and had other kids. He shouldn't get much sympathy in front of the jury. He certainly got none from me in this regard. I'm sorry...what is she supposed to control herself from?
Hey - hope this all goes well for you - I went through a court custody battle for my son about 11 years ago, it was me versus my boy's crazy (then) junkie mother.
I really do feel for you having to go through this utter emotional meatgrinder. But it sounds like you've got a pretty airtight case and you've definitely gone about it the right way collating the evidence like you have - From what I've read it should be a foregone conclusion. Best of luck |
