You're talking like one.

1. You WILL need to use health care at some point in your life. Your number will come up eventually. If nothing else, you'll get old like everyone else.
2. Welcome to living in a civilization. We all pay for public schools though I don't have any kids. We all pay for police and fire departments, though my house has never been broken into or burned down. We have a social safety net that we all hope we will never personally need. I'm paying for the Iraq War even though I didn't vote for Bush. That's the way civilization works. You don't pay as you please. Get over it.

Good for you. I've given you too little credit too. Apologies.
However, make no mistake about it. If we'd never gone to war in Iraq, healthcare would currently cost more than it does. Being a for profit business, our healthcare system responds as much to what the market will bear as anything else. They don't regret how much it costs, the insurance industry celebrates it as it has made those who own it very wealthy. Give them credit though, healthcare as we allow the insurance industry to configure it also employs a lot more people than a single payer system would .. unfortunately none of those extra employees contribute to the actual delivery of care.
Question: how in the world can you keep saying you'll never need a hospital? Is that a faith-based belief for you? (I keep wanting to ask you if you're actually 13 but if you voted for Obama that can't be it.)

Manowar, if you pay taxes, then you have been paying for every single uninsured person who went to the emergency room and couldn't pay their bill. The reason hospital visits are obscenely expensive, the reason they charge 10 dollars for a goddamn tylenol is to alleviate the loss from the average, uninsured person who needs medical help but can't foot the bill. That then falls onto the hospital, and ultimately John Q Taxpayer.
My question for you is, do you like civilization? Do you enjoy living in a society where people don't have to pay the fire department to save their house? Where they don't have to pay the police to investigate a crime? Where you don't have to pay a teacher to teach your kid? Then this very diluted, very flawed healthcare overhaul is just another part of that. The goal is universal, single payer healthcare for everyone. This is the first step. This is civilization coming to the nascar hat wearing dumbasses who think Rush Limbaugh walks on water. Small steps. You don't like it you can just geeeeettttt oooouuuuurrrrttt derp.

I want to ask another question will Obama care have deductibles or is everything included? I think the health insurance before Obamacare you had to pay extra but not sure
Manowar
You will use it at somepoint, and given cancer rates and heart conditions your are almost definately going to get an ailment that falls into these two categories, when it comes, it'll cost an arm and a leg. Hopefully not literally. To think otherwise is foolish.
If you are not rich you will not pay full whack, some people will pay nothing. Google is your friend.
If you didn't go to Iraq it'd still cost, as you live in a Randian country that cares little for society and seems to only care about how many greenback are in your back pocket. How very sad. My country went to Iraq and we still have socialized medicine.
If I was uninsured living in the US the 3 births my partner has had would've cost up to $60,000. That doesn't include visits from midwives pre or post-birth.
America is farcical on how it spends your tax $$, but Obamacare is something that is actually worth having; Unless you truly believe you can avoid cancer, which 45% of men will get, heart problems, any accident, getting shot - not so unlikely when you look at the stats, and many other freak occurences, illnesses etc. You have to live a charmed life to avoid hospital, but no one is charmed, as you well know.
Don't whine about Obamacare, enjoy becoming a first world nation, you were the only big economy per capita that didn't have universal healthcare. It's there to KEEP YOU ALIVE and prevent you going broke. Complain about the chronic waste on military expenditure, the drug war, the wealthiest individuals like Romney and corporations who avoid masses of taxes that they DO owe. GE payed a negative tax rate last year, yes that's right, you paid them, and they weren't the only massive firm who got that! Do not complain about something that'll actually help YOU.
And when you work out my taxes compared to someone in America who earns the same, I come out on top. And I get free healthcare.

I have been trying to read up on this Some people have said they will move out of the country , which is just silly, others are afraid of going bankrupt The deductible will be much more, etc I am not sure what is panic and what is real. What will the deductibles be? will insurance for a procedure pay the entire amount or a percentage of the cost?
You guys sure the Obamacare won't be a disaster? I hope not

Minor correction, they write a hefty deal of that not insured stuff off (sweet tax breaks inc)and/or pull from the govs pool. They charge you 10$ for a tylenol in order to turn a hefty profit...lol.

they would also be moving to a nation with "higher taxes" since the US collects the least in taxes out of any modern country short of turkey and chile....
