I disagree this man doesn't seem dumb just he was on a quest to worship something which seems non sense to me. But some really can no point to life if there is no god.I personally think the opposite, that if say Islam us true then this life is pointless as it is just a rehearsal

He didn't convert to being a christian because they're were too many interpretations of the bible, you see the exact same thing in the quran.
Muslims believe the quran is telling them about evolution, they believe the quran is telling them evolution didn't happen. They believe the quran is telling them to fight, they believe the quran is telling them to be peaceful. They believe the quran is telling them they can beat they're wife, they believe the quran says don't beat your wife.
He didn't convert to being a hindu because he didn't like the elephant head of the god.
This is as far as I've got.

There's a shitton of Koran translations. You think us in the west are gonna read that shit in arabic? At barnes n nobles last time I went, there were about four or five different english translations for the Koran. Not to mention, even if you read the Koran in arabic, you still have to take into account the changes that arabic itself went through, like all languages.
