Death takes all, bar none. That's what makes it the ultimate fairness, for better or worse.

I wonder if worshiping a Death God could be used to stave off death, or if that would be counter productive to its goals.

It doesn't have to be a Death God in particular, mind... simply taking part of a god into your soul has the potential to make you 'immortal'... there are lots of gods to choose from. Plenty are more likely to eat you than to hear you... some are unlikely to recognize your existence as an individual within the whole oneness of the dream...

Many would argue that you are already immortal, that the only 'death' is in entropy... which is only the breakdown of individuality.

... Personally... I've seen no reason to employ a champion. My only goal is to awaken Dreamer... that they might accept themselves. Until then, they won't let me stay dead. Be nice to enjoy living with that boon, but alas... I'm recurring, and Dreamer suffers occasional visitation of nightmares.

I will weave the bleeding rifts in her mind closed; my needle a knife, my thread an unending life. Perhaps one day she'll see me not as a piteous reflection of the monsters within her... but as just another accepted splinter of a fractured being.

Anusius has conferred upon me, his chosen acolyte, this fine AM yet another copious bowel movement of perfect texture and smoothness, despite my ingesting some walnuts and then some cheese yesterday. This is near miraculous, considering my constitution!!

I might anoint my anus tonite with some fine Boi Butter products, and then exalt it with my revered Doc Johnson model #34 butt plug, with realistic veining and the optional vibrator attachment with included wall charger, that I have rewired upon my consecrated workbench for more power !!

He protects us from harm, he chases away those who would do us ill. He loves us. He knows the behavior and patterns of the animals of the forest. He is benevolent and wise. Clearly this is god.
