Atlas, I'm not saying any one group like ISIS defines Islam, but they certainly represent a plausible interpretation of it that has support in historical tradition - from the violent conquests Mohammad initiated from Mecca, from the Quran's bigoted and often threatening stance towards infidels and apostates, from the explicit instructions in various hadiths, and from the manner in which scholars in Islamic jurisprudence have interpreted all of the above since the medieval period. Again, that's not to say people like you or Maajid haven't existed, but you can't pretend that ISIS isn't fundamentally Islamic and still remain credible.

Their interpretation (along with their main Teacher) is not plausible if validated against the Quran; take the Hadith off and that cult is naked, compare every word they say to the Quran and they're destroyed.

The Quran cannot be taken as separate parts; a sentence cannot be built by using only one verse, the whole book must be used to conclude a sentence. The Wahhabi cult replace this rule by the Hadith.

That's why I always thought that Islam today is forged : Wahhabism is an expected conclusion of practicing the Sunni faith for ages.

The cartoon is something, reality is something else; that being said Rythem, the disney cartoon will neither erase the brutalities of the west in the "new world" neither would it cover up for their genocide against the natives.
