Sarah dies at the age of 127 years. Abraham makes sure to get her a proper burial site, and a field with a cave in it is given to him as such.

Not much action in this passage, but it's still actually an engaging read if you're into learning a little about how the ancient people conversed with one another. For me, the passage has this loneliness feeling to it. Especially in the beginning, as Abraham mourns for his wife and is implied to have lain/sat next to her dead body during mourning. But a sense of positivity is also felt from reading the passage, with Abraham being treated with the utmost respect by the locals and his wants being fulfilled without any hassle whatsoever.

As for Sarah herself, what I can say is that she was quite a faithful wife who exhibited a lot of patience and wanted nothing but what was best for Abraham and their own child. She had her weak points (e.g., she was not exactly loving to Hagar and Ishmael), but I can see how she would've nevertheless been a great model for the ancient Israelite women at the time.

@Bucky Ball @Gae Bolga, you guys expect others who differ from you to be respectful toward you, why? You call the Bible the magic book, you either can't spell Jesus or you're misspelling it to get under the skin of Christians ( I believe the latter), you quote scriptures as you know their meaning and you in general disrespect those who challenge you. Don't expect common courtesy when you do not show any in post after post and thread after thread. Most Christians would rather have good conversation than to argue but, when you disrespect what we choose to believe by mocking many parts of it (ie. the Bible, Jesus, God and ect.) by using disrespectful wording for them then you should expect some kind of defensive front to be thrown up at you. 
  By the way I was watching a show the other day about archaeology in the middle east and a secular archaeologist said that the Bible was still a valuable book to use in the discovery and understanding of ancient sites. This is from one who is there digging to find the truth, words from his own mouth, not from some paper that is written to impress more than to enlighten.

THESE are the BEST archaeologist in Israel. 
They would have a vested interest in the Bible being literally true. 
It isn't. None of it.

The only thing they have vested in their work is their pride, they do not care about the truth or they would have found it long ago. You have yet to show that none of the Bible is true, you have claimed now prove it.

You do realize that a "god creating" is meaningless. Creating is an action process which requires time. There was no time (yet). 
Therefore you cannot use a verb with a temporal meaning. Try again, and next time actually THINK about what you're saying. 

 I have a full understanding of what I say, unlike you who jabbers a lot so you can impress your fellow atheist, guess what I bet not all are impressed with you, I've been here a long time and understand some of the atheist here and what might impress them and it's not someone who post a bunch of crap and never brings any proof to the table.

I've known my wife only 25ish years and can't imagine what life would be like without her. can you fathom what life would be like if you added another 100 years to that relationship? that loss must take the wind out of your sails to do anything else

There has never ever been a period in human history that human lifespans even approached the 100's. 
26 years Based on Early and Middle Bronze Age data, total life expectancy at 15 would be 28–36 years.

Just because they have degrees doesn't mean a thing, they need to have a desire for the truth no matter what they find. They'er out for glory for themselves. You have no idea what I know.
