Sexual desire seems to be a curse for men

"Incel" being a thing and mindset puzzles and concerns me.  It reflects a lack of communication and understanding.  Then there are guys I see at bars and shows, in their mid 20's, who probably do have sex, thanks to swipe right apps.  But, they hang out with other dudes.  Dough bros, I call them.  They look like they used to work out, but not so much anymore.  It's a very different scene from the 70's and 80's.  A disconnect between genders occurred since my heyday.  I hope Gen A works it out.

Back in the day (in my old codger voice) there was a guy who was pretty creepy and not attractive to me at all.  He had come home from the military and was back in the group he used to run with before I moved to that town...so I didn't know the history.  The guy I was dating (father of my oldest) was hot and was known for dating good looking women and for being pursued by most of the women around.  I was punching above my weight with him.  Anyway, creepy guy apparently in days past had tried to get with my boyfriend's prior long-term women...who were both gorgeous.  He had failed miserably.  I guess he figured since I didn't meet the standards of Nan or Connie that he had a chance with me.  In fact, he got quite angry with me one night for turning him down yet again.  I had to have a bouncer help me out after creepy guy started yelling at me - his main 'line' - is Lance a better man than I am?  Actually yes...let me count the ways.  I believe that was my first encounter with an incel.  We just didn't call them that back in the 70s.

Now, the Internet seems to be their place for gnashing of teeth and blaming women for not being attracted to every swinging dick that makes a move.

Yeah, this is a very misogynist topic. I don't see what kind of constructive conversation can be expected here.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If we got rid of every topic that someone thinks is not constructive, we may as well pull the plug on the whole thing.

Creeps typically had a personality disorder or some other malfunction of empathy and self-assessment.  I hate to think poor mental health has become this widespread.

Congrats on working the new girl angle into romance with Lance.  When I was the new kid in high school, I found myself an incel for way too long.  But I didn't blame the girls.  I blamed the Eagles.

LOL, I mean..I know -I- look like I used to work out, because that's exactly true.  Never seemed to keep me out of beds.  Even being a dough bro won't stop you from getting laid, that takes extra effort.

I have always been a fan of Malibu Amber.  The Wife is a decade my senior, and so is The Ex.  Ill never stop calling her a cradle robber.  I deeply enjoy pointing out that she was prepping for college when I was getting an award for best macaroni necklace in elementary school.  I think she enjoys it too...not that she'll ever admit it, fucking cougar. Human sexuality is a funny thing, meanwhile, we've got a guy here who's pretty certain it aint personal when it's pretty obvious that his problems are very deeply personal...and correctable! At some point, you just have to ask whether they want to get laid... or they'd argue (with other men....) about why they aren't getting laid. It's not hard. Even nuns fuck.

Current, and probably last, husband is eight years younger than I am.  While he continues to work full time, I get my Social Security check every month.  He sort of hates that.  I sort of like it, a lot.  LOL

If you cant get laid at a wedding, you're really putting in the effort to be unfuckable.  A wedding was the first non accidental date between my wife and myself..and man, were there some misunderstandings.  It was a keys wedding, so it was hot and uncomfortable and I disappeared when they were all on the beach, with the fucking sand blowing all over my sunburnt skin.  She even gave her friends shit, including the bride to be...asking... in effect, if they'd run me off.  Firstly, not possible, I cant be run off, it's not a thing, and secondly...  Nah brah, I walked out looking for some AC like a floridian at a tourists wedding.  She found me, we fucked in the pool in broad daylight.  We had a better time than the newlyweds, at their expense.  Score.

She really thought, when a floridian melted into florida, that she'd lost her shot at something she wanted..that I'd just disappeared back into the earth from which I came the night we met....and the look on her face when she communicated this fear was so cute, so intoxicating. Here we are, bout 20 years later. Still looks at me the same way, I still see her the same way. I mean, I guess I could stop with saying I see her - and that's why it works. Maybe our boy could spend a little more effort trying to see the women he wants to fuck than he seems to spend making himself unfuckable? Might not work...but it couldn't hurt.

RE: Sexual desire seems to be a curse for men
(December 22, 2022 at 5:18 am)Macoleco Wrote: Based on personal experience and observation, it is quite easy to notice that men are on the constant pursue of women, mainly with the objective of having sex with them. The desire for a relationship may depend on several factors, such as falling in love with her, which can happen at first sight or after some time of friendship, or after certain age at which company is more desirable than lust. This is false. Their are plenty of men and transmen on the wide expanse of the sexual spectrum who have no attraction to women or even anyone else.

Nonetheless, for young men, such scenario of having a strong sexual desire, and not being able to easily satiate it, albeit temporaly, creates feelings of frustration, and even anger and resentment, which unfortunately have to be endured. And thus, men enter a vicious cycle, which makes them waste resources, time, and forces them to act into sometimes awkward and uncomfortable social situations, such as approaching women, which may lead into unfavorable situations. Do all the men you know have nymphomania? You seem woefully unaware of apps like Tinder and Grindr etal

The option of prostitution is always available, which can be a curse in itself. Most men want to be desired the same way they desire women. Unfortunately nature decided to create women in a different a fashion. Prostitution has many shortcomings, like the possibility of being scammed or STD, the emptiness which one may feel after the act, or not finding a woman attractive enough. Using this service frequency can also become very expensive. Again with the most men broad brush. Your sexual failures may or may not apply to others.

Only few men are lucky enough to sleep with either highly attractive women, be it due to their looks, social circle, socio-economic status, etc., or with a woman they deem worthy of a relationship and capable of good sex. Now, these both scenarios do not satiate the desire of men permanently, but on a regular basis it keeps him satisfied, and the feelings of resentment and frustration disappear.  Still, the desire for different women will probably remain, although not as strong, as before. What do you mean by highly attractive? My partner has a gap in her front teeth, There are some who think that's highly attractive while others would find it ugly. Perhaps broaden your standards to something other than models on magazines.

Women know of such fact, either based on observation, experience, or instinct. And will use it as a weapon against man, mainly manipulation. Like the donkey that cases the carrot, man chases the woman who, might or might not, give him sex, which, will unlikely, fully please him, keeping him into the vicious cycle. Absolute twaddle.

There is no solution to this dilemma, only ways to cope and keep the desire under control. Nonetheless, most men will still chase women, since the idea of putting one's sexuality aside is disagreeable. Time is limited, specially youth, and thus having as much sex as possible while feasible is something most men can not simply ignore, again, forcing them into this vicious cycle. Sure there is, Stop thinking life is about banging hot chicks. You come off as a 1980's college comedy movie antagonist.

Only time can end lust, in the fashion only death can end life. You need to get out more and have fun. Non dick related fun.

New term for me. Just having learned that our Sun is somewhat close to Sagittarius A and having completed six loads of laundry this morning, it's been a pretty productive morning.

Still, if these sexually deprived males are in need of chicks, they need to get a good job, a nice house and a cat, sign-up for eharmony and Nature will take care of the rest. And, be kind & polite and temper one's expectations with compassion & understanding, and do laundry, lots of it.
