Atheist Bible Study 1: Genesis
RE: Atheist Bible Study 1: Genesis
Dripshit thinks he knows more than those jew-boy archaeologists because he can read their silly book better than they can.

Having dripshit around is like having our own Village Idiot.

Just FYI:

I won't be posting in this thread for a while. Too many distractions to deal with at the moment. But feel free to continue the study onwards without me if anyone's interested. Otherwise, this will be on hold until I can find the time and mood to get this back on track.

I don't know if I can name one, but undoubtedly there were many because at one time the earth was sufficiently sparsely populated that competition was unnecessary.  The first cities some 10,000 years ago likely did not involve any conflict in their formation.  I suspect this is just another vapid generalization from moron central.

That's kinda my point.. the establishment of modern/survival of the fittest civilizations obliterated all of the weaker forms of civilization with or without God. Meaning God was not even apart of the 'natural selection process' in most cases where more advanced and modern man came together the pushed the weaker out. our history over and over shows this.. this is not a God only thing is the point.

Actually, do whatever you want. When/if I get back here, I'll continue my thing ... unless I see that you have actually done the kind of continuation that I'm expecting, given the title of this thread.

In answer to your question, up to the end of Genesis.

then why is christianity set apart as freedom from the law?
as a way to find righteousness without 'morality?' why is it not performance based but love based?

Only completely gullible idiots find christianity to be based on love.

I did the book of romans and it was brutal, it was like talking to rocks.. can't see this much differently, but I have been looking forward to the exchange. Also know when ever you 'seek' "life gets in the way" it is generally after you push through the in the way life stuff that you typically find what it is you are looking for.

Christianity is based upon the vicarious redemption of mans soul through the torture and murder of some better guy.

This is not love, this is base and disturbing self interest.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Actually when asked what are the greatest commandment Jesus Himself responded Love your lord God with all of your being and your neighbor as yourself.. in these two commands all of the laws of the prophets are full filled.

Meaning everything in the law has to do with loving God first and your neighbor as yourself. Love/Agape' being the linchpin to all of Christianity.

only pharical legalists apply laws to Christianity that Jesus died to free us from.

Which is what most of you do not understand.

The life you pretend to be living can only be found in Christ.. the legalistic moralistic rule filled existance you think of when someone says Christian... that is the life you live now. You are bound by your laws, you are bound by your soceity you are bound by your morality you are bound by what others even think of you. I through Christ and free from that mess and any trouble you might be in with God. and what's worse... I'm no better than any of you. meaning I do not deserve any of this. matter of fact I can think of several people 'better than me here...' but that's not what Christianity or the God of the bible is about. Nothing but guilt is being judged from that scale anymore.
