Atheist Bible Study 1: Genesis
RE: Atheist Bible Study 1: Genesis
More faithful muslims might consider your comments cause to bury you in the sand to the neck and throw rocks at your head...but I actually don't mind that you're talking to yourself and then coming here to tell us what you told yourself as though this were the divine business.

It's exactly what I think gods are, in the first place.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Quran doesn't advocate ad-populum. It in fact, goes through great lengths, to show often the case and majority of the time it has been, the majority is wrong, and this was applied to people believing in Messengers and people not, both situations majority are almost always mislead.

Right, but not you.

You tell yourself what the real deal is and then tell us what you told yourself..regardless of what those other folks say. That's what makes you an individual and keeps you from joining some stupid cult...oh..wait....lelz.

I am definitely misguided, and am not a authority regarding religion. I don't even have an opinion on most of the laws and have not studied enough of the hadiths and Quran in that respect.

When I speak though, I seek refuge from God from speaking what I do not know, and try to speak only what I know.

You're definitely succeeding at speaking only what you "know"..what with everything you attribute to some god being nothing more or less than your own silly fucking opinions.

so Chapter 14 starts out with a WAR!
Amraphel was the king of Babylonia, Arioch was the king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer was the king of Elam, and Tidal was the king of Goiim. 2 All these kings fought a war against King Bera of Sodom: King Birsha of Gomorrah, King Shinab of Admah, King Shemeber of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela. (Bela is also called Zoar.)

The 3 kings of verse 1 fight a war with the kings of verse 2 now our buddy lot aberham's brother who wanted to live next to the big city f sodom was now at war as well.. remember that was the deal he was to live outside the city and tend his huge flocks... the fact now was he lived in the city meaning some time had past and the city of sodom made lot wealthy selling his surplus live stock and now he lived in the city..

This is where lot was captured when the city fell to the invading kings. upon the fall of sodom the invading king took everything in the city even all of Lot's live stock and family as slaves. On man escaped and told aberham what had happened.

Now abraham did not park himself next to a large city and while he and lot split their wealth evenly (gotten from a very generous egyptian king) Aberham allowed lot to pick the more fertile region allowing his brother to prosper while abraham did ok. Here is the benfit of living where no one wants... no kings to invade and take your stuff. just other smaller tribes in the area who all had pacts with aberham to look out for one another.

it is from this pact that the drew 318 soldiers (trained) So aberham went down to where the invaders were bunked down for the night and these 318 shepard 's.e.a.l.' team took everyone out while the sept. then they load up all the loot that was taken and any survivors (including lot and his people) marched them all back. the king of sodom greeted them and so to did melchizedek a priestly king of salem. who some in the church speculate to be a pre incarnation of Christ as he taught and presented himself in mch the same way Christ does. But at that time was not meant to be a sacrifice for humanity but to help direct and guide abraham and his descendants through this time. Other's simply refer to him as a prophet or a godly king, but also remember there was no religion at this time so those roles are kinda pointless.

So anyway Mel, the king of Sodom Abraham all of the stuff they took back including all of the people/Lot that were taken away as slaves are in this valley just before sodom. To start Abraham gave Melkiz, 10% of everything taken, and then The King of Sodom is so happy he tell Abraham to keep all of the spoils the live stock gold jewels/spoils of war just return his people to him! Abraham said Can't do that... I prayed to God and said he would take nothing if only he could have his brother back... So abraham said I can not take one sandal strap, as I do not want you to say "I made abraham rich." but I would appreciate it if you feed my soldiers and these other few men/spies who helped in the fight.

Remember Abraham was not as wealth as his brother was and refused anything the king would give him, which is a big deal.

You still have not explained why your approach is CB (Christian Bullying) ?
Oh wait .... clearly your not one.

Never mind.
