Which is a complete non-sequiter since I have made no theological claims. The way I see it, my points stand because replies are too busy impuning my motives rather than deal with the philosophical implications of the plain facts about what abortions are and what they do. From what I understand the first 14 days from fertilization are IMHO ontologically vague enough to warrant some measure of epistemic humility and consequent political moderation on my part. So all of those of you projecting your partisanship at me can go stuff it.

Kind of an irrelevant thread, but just wanted to put out there that for some reason, during the last few years my hatred and anger towards the religion has considerably diminished for some reason.

I still despise religion and the church, but no longer I inform myself about it or dedicate much thought to it. My interest has shifted toward capitalism instead.

Is an opposition to capitalism a widespread atheist opinion? It seems I get a lot of that here. Whe. I look a around I only seem to see socialism in combination with capitalism working well. How do you see it?

Nope, it doesn't matter if it's the first 14 days or the first 14 seconds. Life does not begin at conception and no amount of being alive gives one the right to dwell in someone else's body. This has all been dealt with already.

Well, first off, you've made no theological claims that you've linked to your position on abortion, which is not to say the same thing as having made no theological claims. But as long as we're throwing around the non sequitur label, let's apply it aptly to the claim that your point stands because some have impugned your motives, as that does not follow at all, especially when people have made counterarguments of substance.
