By sending them away ASAP, you're saving their time as well as yours. Any sceptic atheist knows they aren't going to convince them of anything by preaching.

Then again... by detaining them for a hour, you're saving someone else who might get brainwashed in that hour. So it's a noble sacrifice Tongue

A number of years ago, I stole a FB meme and posted the following to my door:

ATTENTION SOLICITORS

There will be a $50 charge per half hour for listening to you. The minimum charge is $150.
Payable by cash only. By knocking on this door, you agree to abide by these terms.
Please have your money ready or prepare to be prosecuted for violation of this agreement, should you choose to knock and not have payment.
Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.

Tell them "We have been disfellowshipped". That is the JW version of shunning. If they are caught talking to a disfellowshipped person, they will also be cast out.

It works.

If I have time, I invite them in and beat them to death with facts and logic. This amuses me, upsets them and stops them pestering anyone else for an hour or two Smile

I always wear long atheist worded shirts to bed, so when they knock on weekends I'm wearing one of those, my rainbow knee high stockings, and my flirt on. That, or yell out, "I'm not here!"
