Here's something worth pointing out..that gets lost in the sauce of how utterly terrible Thjese People are. Regardless of whether or not the subset I'm referring to represents christianity-at-large (and I would contend that it doesn't)...a particular form of american christianity has become so calcified in a single direction..that it has transformed itself into an illegal religion..requiring the protection of a deeply troubled administration from the very laws that administration is sworn to uphold. Mull that over a bit. There is a flavor of christian americana that is explicitly illegal...and now resides at the highest levels of government. All those "keep it to yourself" comments about religion fall flat, here.
Christians should be shouting to the rooftops to strangle this in it's crib. Instead......
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This is something America definitely needs. I have been to the United States, and sometimes I would have to walk as much as 30 or 40 feet without seeing a Christian church. Clearly the persecution of Christians is out of control.

I've always wondered why you need to go to specific buildings to talk to an omnipresent God that can read your mind.

You don't go there so that you can talk to god..you go there so that gods tax collectors can talk to you.

How do you think this goes against the constitution? It’s goal seems to be safeguarding religious liberty protected by the constitution.
I know your right to discriminate against people your bible tells you to hate is sacrosanct to you. I think you are just a fucking bigot.

It will benefit one single religious group and you know it. The only reason why you aren't bitching about it is because it's your religion that's going to benefit.

One word: money.
God may not need money, but he sure has a lot of salespeople that do.

It's pork barrel spending. If it safeguarded against discrimination against minority groups, including Muslims, atheists, and agnostics, that would be fine.(even though those last two aren't religions)
Maybe you'll say the first two things I said aren't fair. But if you want to stop discrimination, you focus on the groups of which there is objective proof of discrimination.
From what I've seen of the actual policy points, it does protect everyone's religious liberties. Do you condone descrimination, as long as it's not against who you feel is a minority? And as you said, atheists and agnostics are not a religious organization, but they too may have religous beliefs which should be protected.
Perhaps you don't see a need. That is one thing. But to make out that this is unconstitutional is just building a false narrative. It seems to be built on little more than imagination and fear. I think that this could become more necessary. We are seeing some discrimination now. And I think it is going to continue to grow. Canada is refusing accreditation to a Christian law school, because they hold to Christian beliefs There are some laws being proposed , which would make it a hate crime to teach the Bible..

Not according to the way it's written, and how it's being presented..... How do you know that?

I think that you opinion has little to do with anything I have said or believe, but rather is a straw man built up for you to knock down. It is built on fake news and lies. But I suspect that doesn't matter to you.
In general, when discussing discrimination, I think that I was stricter than most of the people here. They seemed more inconsistent between groups however, which may lead to being more sensitive with some groups than me. I try to use consistent reasoning across the board.

That's a total lie and the only place you'll here about this so called bible ban is fringe religious webshites no such law exists .And they idea that the law does not favor Christian conservatives and Christian conservative causes and agenda's in it's 20 points is so dishonest it's amazing Roads nose has not stretched to China .

And a long rant by Road filled with lies and screams of the Christian persecution complex. Christian have not and are never persecuted in the United States this is a smokescreen plain and simple .
